19- Findings

Okay see i am going to update tomorrow as well, but now I was just too tired to study and so I wrote this quick update. A small one but an update is a update hehe tomorrow a long one ;)

F I N D I N G S

A new feeling it was for Ragini, when her eyes opened, like a new life she was presented.

Her mate had saved her. She was forever obliged to him, her eyes opened wide but again closed as she remembered what had happened the past day.

She was angry with them and had gone to the jungle for a run, who knew she would come across a strange wolf, a stranger.

She changed into her wolf and angrily glared at the stranger all her Beta instincts wanting to protect her pack. She could smell strangeness from the black wolf in front of her but couldn't bring herself to attack on it.

So strange it was for her to not attack a threat, if it was earlier she would have ripped the wolf, killed it in seconds.

But no she couldn't. The wolf radiated power. A power she couldn't challenge, a power she could nver compete against. It was strange, weird everything.

She stared at the huge beast infront of her, her wold was shunned. Silent. Standing patiently, as if waiting for the other one to attack.

How can a Beta be so weak, she thought. Why couldn't she attack or chase the wolf away. The wolf in front of her stood proudly, so proud as if it was its land.

And then in a flash, the other wolf pounced on her and bit her tightly. Sharply its canines piercing her fur and skin. She whimpered, cried but couldn't attack back. Her limbs were glued, she felt. Her mind was stopped, she felt. She was ready to die, she knew it.

The attacker wolf jumped off her, letting her wounded self cry. The wolf looked at her, so shunned so silent.

Her wolf's eyes closed but not before she saw tears in the opponent's eyes.

Ragini's eyes opened as she jerked off the bed. Her hands suddenly went up to her neck, as she felt a slight pain there. She stood up and took her surroundings in her.

She was in her room, in the pack house. The lights were dim, but she could see everything clearly.

Walking to the mirror, she saw her tired self.

She looked weak, but she knew wasn't.

Her gaze landed on her neck, the mark of belonging to her mate lied there. She smiled, she finally was a marked wolf.

"I could die for that smile," she heard a certain someone comment.

"Peeping into someone's room is a very bad manner," she retorted smiling.

"Nah, not if the someone was my mate, a marked one I might add."

Ragini turned around raising her eyebrows at her mate who walked in, as if he owned the room. Closing the door behind him.

He walked closer, while Ragini stayed at her place, a smile playing on her lips.

"I was so scared," he silently breathed as his ips met her mark. The sensation was enough to stir her inner self, her eyes shut on their own as her hand held his shoulders for support.

"I can't lose you," he silently added as he now put his lips on her.

It was a small yet a meaning full peck, he wanted her to show the care, he had for her.

He wanted her to be safe, always. She was his responsibility and he could die to keep her safe.

"I am here, ain't I?" Ragini joked smiling.

"You weren't a few hours back, you were so badly wounded. So badly. I would kill the wolf who did this to you, Ragini why didn't you protect yourself? I know you could have. Then why?"

"I don't know, I just don't.."

And it was enough to announce the threat that was ready at their door waiting for the mates to enter into something they never thought they would. Something so deep that they were to fight with everyone, to protect their kind.
