Flowers falling like drops of water through morning sunlight
Birds call through trees, chirps echoing down
Bugs lazily interrupt rays of sunshine
And there goes a truck, speeding towards the dead end, interrupting the morning's beauty. Thanks, Trump
The roar of the engine is faded into the forest
But it's too late
The birds are silent
The bugs are hiding
And his engine and back up signals still reach me out of the greenery
But flowers continue to drop
Those without ears are unaffected
As the neighborhood's nature slowly returns to peace
Birds
Flowers
Bugs
Breeze
Sunlight through trees
(I was having a good morning sitting on the front step and then a frickin 18 wheeler came roaring down our residential street and Obama isn't in office anymore so I can't exactly thank him. Have a good day ♡)
