The taco truck got a new wrap
The bushes have yet to be trimmed
That's a new painted tire advertising for an auto shop
The hair braiding shop got a new name
The car lot was rebought
New awnings panels
New stone on pillars
Signs blew off
Walls burned down
Concrete crumbled
Vines overgrown
Clovers bloomed
Light bulb's out
Window's busted
Walls streaked with mildew and rust
Dust tracked onto concrete from ruts born into grass
Dried grass stalks overtaking what once was green
Moss hanging down, casting more shade than the actual tree's foliage
Pink shirt, hair bouncing, leggings overly bright
Companion listening obediently
She's a daisy
Loving dog, wagging tail, lolling tongue
He's a bear
Where do I fit into this world?
