Chapter 27-Shes guilty!

James POV

I have all eyes on me and all I do is grin happily and wave. Suddenly I feel Isabella sob into my chest and I was taken aback by her actions but chuckled and stroked her hair while the guys came to stand by me and patted my back.

"Why are you crying love? thought our be happy to see me alive?" I joked

She slapped my arm and have me a play full glare "I'm crying because one you're ok after such a scare and two it's that wicked time of the month" she sighed and rolled her eyes

I scrunched my nose and made an eww face. I didn't need to know that.

"Ok! Love, I don't think they need to know what going on in there" brad chuckled and pointed down there and she got red and gave brad the birdy.

"What happened by the way?" tris interrupted the arguing

I looked over at him and then to the rest and saw that they were waiting for an answer. Will they believe me?

"Uhm" I scratch my head "I'm afraid you guys won't believe me"

"C'mon man we're mates of course we will" Connor said with a smile

"Yeah" brad added

"Ok well I'll start from the beginning...." I trailed off and told them how I heard Lauren talking to someone and said that her baby wasn't brads but blames which just so happens to be Brads cousin.

"No way!" tris gasped

I nodded "and well when I told her shit and told her I was telling you all I just felt a pang in the back of my head and I heard a clatter of a pan and I blacked out."

"Wait.wait.wait. so you're saying that Lauren did this to you?" Brad furrowed his eyes and gestures to my body that was on the bed

I nodded again

"She could have put you in a coma or worse....killed you" Isabella growled

We all looked at how angry she looked and I felt guilty because I burst out into fits of giggles at how cute she looked when she was angry. She's so childish looking it's hilarious!

"You have to tell the police" she added

"What! no! she's pregnant izzy you crazy" Connor yelled

"Like I give a damn! She almost killed James and you're worried about a baby that she will most likely out into adoption afterwards! I know I'm being rude at the moment but look at what she did!" she yelled back and pointed to me and hugged me

Aww she's so adorable. Don't think wrong, I admit she's beautiful but I would never grow feelings for my best mates girl. That's low!

"Isabella has a point" brad spoke up and tris nodded agreeing

Connor sighed and rubbed his temples "whatever I just have a bad feeling about doing this." he groaned

(2 days later)

"Lauren Skylar Dobler I announce you guilty. 2 years in prison for attempted murder." The judge said and hit her mallet on the desk and stood up and Lauren scoffed

"What! this is an outrage! This is a mist-"

"Shut up lady!" the officer said and grabbed her arms and she cried in pain as the officers forcefully handcuffed her hands behind her back as she tried to squirm away.
