Taeyun has a habit that at awards she tends to get lost. It was in 2014 that she got lost on her way back from the toilets. Exo had just finished performing and was going back to the dressing rooms, when they saw Taeyun wondering aimlessly in the corridors. When Taeyun saw them she bowed and introduced herself. Dispite the younger members wanting to talk to Taeyun, the older members realize that Taeyun's members would soon notice that she was missing. Xuimin offered to walk her back to were the other idols were sitting. As they walked they began to talk each other and it was revealed that Taeyun was a little fan girl of Exo in her own right. Xuimin laughed at this small girl, as they walked. Before they reached where BTS was sitting, the exchanged number with each other. After the awards the two of them began to hung out a lot with each other. Fans found out about their friendship when Jungkook was doing a vlive and went into Taeyun's room when she was talking to Xuimin. When Jungkook asked who she was talking to, fans could hear Xuimin on the other end. Since then fans watched out for them at awards to see their reaction with each other. Background: When it was her birthday, her cousin brought her tickets for an Exo meet and greet that had a concert connected to it. The tickets weren't VIP, but Taeyun was just happy to have tickets. When she went she made sure to disguise herself, but somehow Kai still recognized her. When she went to the meet and greet, the other members (apart from Xuimin) knew the face but couldn't figure out her name. When she went to meet Kai, he instantly knew who it was and started laughing. He quietly whispered her name, which made Taeyun blush. They started talking to each other for a bit. It was only when Chen nudged Kai to let him know they had to move to the next person, did they realize that the rest of the fans didn't know it Taeyun. Kai nodded and told Taeyun that they would speak soon. When the concert happened, with the help of Xuimin, she was able to go backstage. When the performance was finished, Xuimin introduced her to the rest of the group. Kai however kept taking her away from the rest of the group, so he could be the only one that could talk to her. What Kai didn't know was that Taeyun had a slight crush on him. So as they spoke, Taeyun had a small blush that made Kai laugh. Only Xuimin knew about her crush.
