Chapter Two Unexpected Help: Eve

I could hear my father's hunters footsteps getting louder and closer. I climbed up a tree all the way to the top. "I don't think they will see me from here." I looked around the area trying to see if I could find the waterfall. It took me a second but I found it. The big waterfall my sister told me about and right above it was the city...Palaven. The city was pretty much built on water and continued to expand that way. I shook my head trying to focus on myself since the hunters are still lurking around here. I stood up on the tip of the tree and jumped to the next tree holding onto the branch tight and pulling myself up. The waterfall was still a few ways to go and I can't keep jumping from tree to tree.

I climbed down and looked to see if I can see any of the hunters but luckily I didn't. I slid down back onto the ground and started to run again towards the waterfall. As I was running to the waterfall I decided to take some time to look at myself and try to see if I can understand my powers.

"What are my powers?" I thought to myself trying to examine my hands. If I look like all my evolutions.....Then I must be able to do the things they can learn. I looked at my hands and could see my original hands. "Wait a second!... My hands went back to normal??" I looked around my entire body and could see the parts of my evolutions disappearing slowly. I still didn't understand what was going on but I guess I made a lot of noise that attracted the hunters attention.

They started firing arrows at me as I tried to dodge them. "Are they trying to kill me??!" I continued to run to the waterfall but I had to find a way to lose them without being seen by the waterfall. How am I going to escape them without being caught? That's when I heard a voice.

"Hey you over here." I couldn't tell who the figure was but decided to hope that this was the right choice. I started running to the figure while the hunters continued to chase after me.

Two of the hunters rushed up to me and jumped at me reaching out to grab me. Then all of a sudden the figure hiding in the shadows jumped out and zoomed passed me punching the two hunters in the stomach very hard as they flew back hitting a tree knocking them out.

"Are you okay?" the person asked. I looked up to the person to see who it was but his body was completely covered in black leather clothing.

I nodded and stood behind him as he got into a fighting stance. The three remaining hunters stood in front of him with their swords out. He dashed at them as they swung their swords at him. His movements were too fast for me and the hunters to follow. He was able to dodge their attacks while knocking their swords out of their hands.

He swung his arm out punching one of the hunters with a fire type move in the face, knocking him out. I could see the fire circling his fists, he must be a fire type I thought to myself. The two hunters then jumped at him trying to land a punch or kick on him but he grabbed one of them by the leg and tossed him up in the air and punching him with an ice type move in the stomach. He quickly then spun around and punched the last hunter with an electric move in face knocking him out.

I was amazed to see how fast he was but also confused of his type. The first hunter was attacked by a fire move, the second an ice move and the last was an electric move. Who could this person be? I thought to myself.

The man turned to face me and pulled down his hood and spoke. "Hello there, my name is Jayson."
