Poppy had woken up to Milo and Janice gone, and only got more confused and frightened when he couldn't find them anywhere outside the ship. He decided he'd check in on Percy to see if he had any clue.
Percy, of course, hadn't slept through the rest of the night. His mind wondered places he didn't know that it could. He thought about Milo, where he was off to, if he was safe. When would he see him again? He stared at the wall. "I can't worry, he knows what he's doing. He can protect himself..." he winced and turned back around. Just as he talked to himself, Poppy came in.
"Percival, where on earth are the other two?"
Percy jumped and sat up. "Oh!— uh—" he stuttered. "Milo left. Early this morning. He didn't say where, he just said that we'd see each other soon..."
"That damned boy. He's gonna get in some real trouble. He brought Janice with him?" Poppy complained.
Percy nodded.
Poppy shook his head, frustrated. "Why'd he let you know and not me?"
Percy shrugged. He knew the answer, but wouldn't never admit to Poppy that Milo didn't want his older brother on his tail.
Poppy huffed. "Get up, boy. We have things to do." He walked out of Percy's room and shut the door harshly.
Percy jumped in fear, but stared at the door. He knew Poppy wasn't mad with him, just worried about the people he actually loved....
With that, Percy got up out of bed. He stretched and got himself dressed, walking out of his room. Poppy was already getting the ship ready to do some looking.
