"Pothead, you complete arse!" Pansy Parkinson yelled.
"Calm down Pansy." Theodore Nott approached her cautiously.
Harry was stunned into silence at the group of slytherins who decided to break down his door.
"Lets all go back inside and talk this out like decent witches and wizards." Ginny interrupted and continued, "right after all of you deposit your Wands on that table inside." Ginny pointed.
The Slytherins looked at her warily, but agreed.

"It's understandable that you'd wanna lock Draco up for even the silliest of reasons, but I thought Granger was your friend." Daphne Greengrass interjected.
Ginny glared at Harry, who sat with a glum expression on his face. Blaise stood to the corner of the room, silently.
"There's a large part of our community that wants Malfoy sent to Azkaban without a trial. They apparated away even before I could get to them. And that made everyone all the more suspicious." Harry said softly.
"That's because you didn't give them a bloody chance to explain without the whole crowd already pouncing on them."Ginny fumed.
"Alright, who's side are you on Gin?" Harry asked.
"Look love, the public has its own views on matters, ones that will not leave room for reason. Or justice. The masses are critical about everything." Ginny said tiredly.
"Your not as dim witted as I'd imagined Weaslette." Nott said. She glared.
"Look, as much as we'd like to say we care about your relationship with Granger, we don't. But Draco is our friend. Hell! He's our brother. And as much as you think he's capable of murder, he isn't. The only way he would ever hurt anyone is with his mouth." They said hotly.
"We start our own private investigation." Everyone stared at the redhead. Ron opened his mouth to speak but Ginny cut him off.
"And as much as it pains me to say this, we'll have to work together." Ginny said finally.
"Good plan Weaslette." Daphne piped.
Harry looked at her like he'd been slapped.
"Harry, I know you're loyal to your team but, please? We know 'Mione's innocent!" Ginny said, tearing up.
Harry smiled.
"Anything to prove she's innocent." He said. Ginny hugged him.
"Blaise! What's up with you?" You're never this quiet." Nott asked.
He sighed.
"I'd set up scrying glasses around the house the night of the ball." He said.
"How did the Aurors not know?" Harry asked.
"I hid it away. Something told me they wouldn't merely be enough evidence." He said.
"Did u find anything?" They asked.
Blaise nodded, concealing the fact that the two fugitives were with him that day. If the killer was pinning this on Draco and Granger, then he knew that they'd have a better chance at catching him, because if all other options ran out and the killer wanted them dead, he'd try eliminating them himself, as a last resort. And when the time came, the blond and the brunette would need back up. Hopefully, they'd reach them in time.
"I think you might wanna see." He said Ginny dropped her beautiful baby boy off at her mother's and the lot apparated to the manor.

"The scoundrel!" Ginny exclaimed.
"Let's go check his house." Harry said.
"Been there. Done that." Blaise said.
"He's dead. And w-I found Burnt remnants of a Rebekah Declan's hair, which I discovered with some digging." Blaise said quickly, covering up his mistake.
"Then we go to her place." Ginny nodded.
"Zabini, in all this, did you hear from Malfoy? Or Hermione? Harry asked.
Blaise shook his head no, the guilt crushing his insides.
The crowd apparated to Rebekah Declan's house.

"There are small traces of magic around the place." Harry said.
Ron and Ginny appeared from within the house.
"It's empty." They said.
"Will you be able to find them with the magical remnants on the grounds?" Blaise, who was now utterly clueless as to where they were, asked.
"I can try." Harry replied, unsure.
Blaise has phoned the Coroner's corner to enquire if they were still there. Unfortunately not.
He sighed.
If only they knew that their friends were now trying to help and were not plotting against them. Maybe then the group would be able to find them before anything horrid happened to them.
