throughout the day, kara received one or two texts from lena in between classes, until lunch hour. Alex had invited lena to sit with her, and immediately gave her the over protective sister speech about breaking Karas heart, etc etc. about half way through it, lena snuck off into the one person bathroom and texted kara, asking her to ask Alex to lay off.
kara giggled to herself and agreed, before messaging Alex. soon after that lena had to go to her last class, English, before she left early after collecting her homework. she rushed home without any inference. lena unlocked her door and went up to her room, and got everything settled before texting kara that she was home.
kara smiled and set her book down, and opened her window. she crawled out and across the tree before lena opened her window and let kara into her bedroom. Lena smiled and quickly let her hair down out of the pony tail she had her hair tied in for a couple hours before.
"hey" kara giggled sitting on Lenas bed, un aware of the blanket she had told lena to keep earlier this morning, "no problems at school?"
lena smiled and sat next to the blonde, shaking her head lightly. "nope, just a specific older brunette danvers"
kara chuckled and leaned her head on Lenas shoulder, causing the other woman to blush lightly. "well, she shouldn't be causing any more issues, and if she does you come straight to me."
lena smiled and pushed kara over until she was laying down. kara was about to protest before the brunette joined her, cuddling into her side. kara hummed content and ran a hand through Lenas dark hair. "ill have to go soon.. just before my mom gets back around four. but we have some time until that..I-if you want me to stay, obviously" kara blurted out nervous, making lena nod in response.
"of course I do. my mom's somewhere in.. Chicago or something for the next month.. so ill take as much kara time as I can get." kara bit her lip and nodded, "ill text you as much as I can, but I have a feeling moms gonna take my phone back when she gets home because she most likely thinks I only text her and Alex," the blonde rolled her eyes before continuing, "and when she's home I won't need to text her"
lena giggled at that, "well who else do you text other than your mother?""you and Alex.." kara blushed and hid her face in Lenas shoulder. lena smirked "hm okay.. i'm gonna go change, alright? jeans suck" kara bit her lip and nodded before letting the brunette go. lena got up and looked in her closet for a minute. she took out some shorts and a sweatshirt and debated it for a moment before going into her bathroom change.
after a couple minutes, lena came out of the bathroom in volleyball shorts and a red Stanford sweatshirt, dropping her dirty clothes in her hamper before quickly laying in Karas arms on her bed. "hmmm nice legs" kara giggled with the beautiful brunette in her arms.
"I noticed my blanket on your bed.."
lena immediately blushed and pushed her head into Karas chest, "you told me to keep it." kara heard from the cute girl, making a big smile form on her face. "I know.. and I want you too. its yours baby," kara slipped out, immediately regretting her words. "I-i mean.."
"baby.. I like it," lena said, cutting her off quickly and looking up at kara with a smile. Karas face mimicked Lenas, a smile growing wide "yeah?"
"yeah," lena replied before leaning up and pressing a small kiss to the blondes cheek. the two girls sat up, and kara pulled her close into a hug. lena giggled softly before wrapping her arms around the blonde, wanting to have her all the time to herself. but she couldn't be greedy, the blonde had friends and family who wanted her too. eventually lena let go of her and looked at her phone. lena sighed, knowing kara had to go.
"its 3:57, you should probably go before your mom gets home.." lena mumbled, pulling herself away from kara. kara slowly nodded, standing up and pulling lena with her. kara nervously placed a soft hand under Lenas chin and gently made lena look up at her, before kara leaned in and placed a small kiss to her lips.
lena reacted slowly, wrapping her arms around Karas neck and pulling her closer before she kissed kara back, letting out a small muffled moan against Karas lips. after a moment they pulled away and both blushed. kara cleared her throat as lena licked her lips quickly.
'uhm.." kara started "right. come over for dinner tonight in an hour, I don't want you to be alone tonight.. i'm sure you remember that mom's a good cook a-and you should have a nice meal, right?" she clears her throat nervously, hoping lena would say yes.
"would that me okay, with your mother.. and your sister?"
"yes! they love you.. and even moms been asking about you too" kara smiled, holding Lenas pale hands gently
"i.. okay. but ask your mom first and then tell me. whether its with a text or a message from the window" she giggled when kara nodded "okay, ill let you know" she smiled and kissed her cheek once more before opening the window and carefully climbed across. she opened her bedroom window and looked back at lena who was watching her, just to make sure she got in okay, or that's what she claims, and kara blew her a kiss. lena smiled widely and watched as the blonde crawled into her own window.
kara smiled over at lena through the window before she left her room and went downstairs to greet her mother.
