Chapter Eight

kara led her girlfriend to the dining room nervously. "mom, you remember lena, lena, mom" kara said quickly, making Eliza smile and hug lena, causing the younger woman to blush and shift to hug the older blonde.

"its so nice to see you again, lena! you are welcome here anytime you'd like!" Eliza said, pulling away from the tight hug. lena simply smiled at Eliza "thank you mrs danvers, I really appreciate it." lena replied, making Eliza scoff playfully "come on, I know it's been a while but please, just Eliza is fine." lena chuckled and nodded about to ask if she could help with anything before Alex came down the stairs.

"kara whats your girlfriend doing here? and, hey, lena," Alex said quickly, teasing her younger sister "w-what?? what girlfriend I don't have a girlfriend!?" kara threw back, before they were both cut off "girls, girls, you're scaring the poor girl," Eliza motioned to lena who was standing awkwardly between the two sisters. "lets just sit down and have a nice meal with lena, okay?" the two sisters grumbled an "okay" together, and subtlety kara grabbed lenas hand and brought her over to the table, the two sitting beside each other.

Alex gave her mother a knowing smile which was returned, before the two danvers sat down across from them acting as if nothing happened and they hadn't seen anything. kara helped lena fill up her plate, and lena claimed it was too much food, but kara simply told her to eat as much as she could and it would be fine. kara also had told her to save room for dessert, because that was the important part, obviously!

they got through the dinner in about 20 minutes, with the small talk of course, and kara made sure lena felt comfortable every couple minutes, knowing her mother and sister were a little much. after dinner, lena offered to help with the dishes, but Eliza simply denied it and told kara to take lena to the living room to pick out a couple movies.

it was around 7:30 when Eliza and Alex joined kara and lena in the living room. kara told them that they chose the film 'everyday', a movie about this girl who falls in love with someone who switches bodies everyday. kara and lena sat on the right side of the couch with a little distance between them, but they could still touch each other. Eliza sat on the left side of the couch while Alex sat in a love seat on the left side of the couch, closer to Eliza tan lena and kara.

they watched the movie for a little bit, around 7:45 when Alex claimed she had homework, and 8:15 when Eliza got up and said goodnight. "lena, if you girls decide to throw on a movie its going to be too late by the time you're finished, so don't bother going home. just stay the night and im sure Alex won't mind driving you to school." lena smiled politely up at the one mother figure in her life "thank you, mrs dan.. Eliza. I really appreciate it."

Eliza kissed Karas head gently before heading up the stairs, and a couple moments later they heard her bedroom door close. lena slowly moved closer to kara, and kara slowly wrapped an arm around lena, pulling her just a tad bit closer. kara pressed her lips to lenas temple lightly, her lips lingering for a couple more seconds than they should have, but she couldn't help herself.

eventually she removed her lips and looked back at the screen, the movie coming close to an end. a couple minutes later, the credits were rolling and kara looked to lena "that was a pretty sweet movie, don't you think?" the blonde asked, looking down at the tiny brunette in her arms. "yeah.. I wish it explained it better. don't get me wrong, it was a nice movie and all but I just wished they went into more depth on it, was the girl straight or gay or bi or what? it only ever shows her kissing her..partner.. when they're in a male form" lena shrugged, looking up at kara

"yeah, I understand that, and I agree.."kara mumbled and looked at the screen before back at lena "so.. do you wanna watch a movie and stay over? o-or I can walk you home now and we can text o-or you can just.." Karas face flushed "im just gonna stop talking now," the blonde suggested to herself and lena chucked. "I'd love to stay, if thats okay with you.. I know you have a guest room if that will make you comfortable.."

"oh. right.. um I don't know why I thought.. nevermind" she spit out and moved away a little. "no no no kara.. I can stay in your room.. I-i just want you to be comfortable," when lena saw a smile spread on Karas face, she continued "id love to sleep with you.. I-i mean, not like that.. well yes that, but.." lena blushed deeply "you know what I mean!" she whined while kara laughed.

"I know, i know, let's just pick another movie for now, okay?" kara suggested, handing the remote over to lena who shrugged. lena scrolled for a while before smiling when she found one of her favourite movies, 'All about E' it was a lesbian film about a beautiful DJ who was married to a man, matt, for convenience, before she flees to her ex girlfriends house.

lena put it on and told kara to just watch. about ten minutes into the movie, lena was on top of kara, Karas hands were on lenas bare hips from the inside of her hoodie, lenas hands were on Karas boobs and they were making out. kara let out a small moan before Alex came up behind the couch.

"not your girlfriend, huh?"

kara and lena quickly jumped up off the couch, looking wide eyed at Alex. "what the hell?!" kara whisper yelled, extremely embarrassed that her older sister just caught her making out with lena. "I just came down for an apple, its not like I expected to see lenas hands on your boobs" Alex scoffed, and lena looked down trying to hide her face

"I'd suggest going up to your room before mom is next.. you know what would happen if she caught you two," Alex laughed, biting into the apple she has just picked up. "also, thanks kara, I just won $30 from James. I knew you were gay," Alex said before heading upstairs giggling.

kara gasped speechless, and looked over at Lena "oh my god.. im so sorry!" the blonde said quickly, "are you okay?" she asked. lena looked up to her for a moment before breaking out into laughter "your sister just.. she bet.. oh my god!" she said in between laughter. "your own sister bet on your sexuality!"

kara turned off the movie and rolled her eyes "come on, we are going upstairs," kara said and held out her hand for lena. when the brunette calmed down she took Karas hand and they went up to Karas bedroom. kara locked her door and looked at lena, who had sat down on her bed " do you wanna borrow some clothes?"

"oh um.." she looked down at what she was wearing, a hoodie and leggings. "sure why not," lena smiled at kara who was looking through her wardrobe. "shorts? a t-shirt? pyjama pants? what would you like?" kara offered "oh, would you mind if I just wore a t-shirt?" she blushed softly, biting her lip. kara smiled and nodded, pulling out a Kinda over sized t-shirt that she usually tied up. lena nodded grateful and took the shirt from her.

kara pulled out a simple pair of black Lululemon shorts and a matching sports bra. "I'm gonna change in the bathroom, feel free to change out here and just tell me when you're done" kara kissed her cheek softly before going into the bathroom and changing. lena took off her sweatshirt and put on the t-shirt kara gave her. she slipped off her leggings and sat down in the bed in the shirt and panties.

meanwhile in the bathroom, kara stripped and traded in her wire bra for black sports bra, and she changed into her black shorts. kara looked in the mirror at her stomach for a minute before picking up her dirty clothes "are you dressed?" she called out, and got a 'mmhm!' in response. she walked out of the bathroom and dropped her dirty clothes In her hamper. "do you need to charge your phone?" kara asked lena, and lena nodded softly, "if you don't mind. its sitting there beside you"

kara plugged in her phone before looking at lena, "do you need anything else?" lena shook her head and snuggled into Karas blanket, waiting for kara to join her. kara shut off the light and quickly crawled into bed beside lena. kara held her arms open under neath of the blankets and lena immediately knew, crawling into them and smiling happily "hm.. nice toned stomach," lena complimented, rubbing her tummy soft. kara giggled quietly "nice long strong legs," kara complimented back, looking up at her.

"so.. about what Alex said.. are you my girlfriend?" kara mumbled, moving a small piece of lenas hair behind her ear gently. "is that your way of asking m to be your girlfriend?" lena rose an eyebrow, biting her lip. "maybe.." kara giggled and blushed. "id love to be your girlfriend, kara. yes" the brunette mumbled at her girlfriend who habited a wide, goofy grin.

//heyy it's been a quick min. after this I have one more already written chapter and then I'm out. i have to stay up p late tonight to catch a flight at 3 am (I've been sleeping all day rip) so I'm gonna try and write some more, expect some new things soon :) hope you enjoy!
