Chapter Nine

the next morning, kara woke up before lena. kara watched her girlfriend sleep happily, in a non creepy way of course, kara tucked a loose strand of hair behind lenas ear, causing her to shift farther into Karas chest. Kara chuckled softly and looked at her alarm clock, seeing the time, fifteen to seven. the blonde sighed, knowing she would have to wake lena up sooner or later.

kara kissed her forehead softly and waited, but nothing happened. "babe.." kara attempted to wake her again, and sighed dramatically when it didn't work. kara an idea and left wet kisses all over lenas face, making the brunette whine and pull away. "come on, wake up," kara mumbled and lena slowly opens her eyes

"whyyy?" the smaller brunette whined, looking up at kara who smiled at the grumpy girl. "we've gotta get up, you need to leave for school soon.. you can borrow some clothes again, okay?"

"why can't I just stay here..?""because you have school! and as much as i'd like to keep you here in my bed all day, if we aren't downstairs in the next half an hour my mothers gonna come up here and see us cuddling half naked. which I don't think either of us want."

lena groaned loudly and sat up. kara sat up and kissed lena's cheek once before getting out of bed. she walked over to her closet and pulled out a pair of simple black leggings and a blue crop top, before grabbing a clean thong, tucking It between her leggings and tops so it was no longer visible.

"um.. feel free to take anything out of the closet, anything mine is yours.." she giggled nervously and went into her bathroom, "knock on the bathroom door when you're done.. I have an extra toothbrush you can use." lena smiled and nodded before kara closed the bathroom door.

lena bit her lip nervously and got up off of karas bed, before looking through her closet. some of the clothing she recognized, from nothing she had worn to school, and some of the clothing she didn't. like the 'nerdy' cardigans or the 'Harvard' sweatshirt.

lena chose a pair of black leggings and one of karas hoodies, it was kind of cropped but it didn't show her stomach. it was white and it said 'pink', the brand in black on the left sleeve. lena quickly changed and pulled her straight hair into a high ponytail.

meanwhile in the bathroom, kara had changed into her chosen clothes and brushed her hair, before starting to brush her teeth. she heard a knock on the door and quickly opened it. she smiled at her girlfriend, loving to see her girlfriend in her clothes.

"hey, you look great!" kara said quickly, before grabbing a spare toothbrush from underneath her bathroom sink. "here, and the tooth paste is there," kara told her brunette before kara finished brushing her teeth and she rinsed out her mouth.

lena started to brush her teeth, smiling when she felt kara come up behind her, wrapping her arms around her waist. lena felt karas chin rest on her shoulder and she giggled before leaving over to spit out the foam. she rinsed out her mouth quickly before turning around in karas arms, humming happily.

lena leaned forward to press her lips to kara's, before she heard a knock on the door. the brunette let out a small groan before she pulled away wile kara called out, "we will be down in a minute, mom!"

they heard Eliza walk down the stairs, and kara bit her lip gently. "sorry.. we should probably go down there now." lena let out a puff of wind and nodded, leaving kara's bathroom before grabbing her phone and opening the bedroom door.

the two went down the stairs, joining Eliza and Alexis the dining room. Eliza had made them all breakfast including toast, eggs and bacon. lena hadn't been expecting it, so when kara had sat down at the table, lena nervously sat down beside kara, looked down at her lap and played with her own two hands.

kara immediately started eating, she ate a whole piece of bacon before she realized something was wrong. quietly, kara asked lena, "are you okay? what's wrong?" lena bit her lip and shrugged without saying anything.

"come on.." kara whispered, before lena leaned in and whispered in her ear. "oh.. thats okay. don't worry about it, honestly. it's okay." Eliza heard kara, and frowned. "what's wrong, girls?"

lena stayed silent, making kara speak up. "lena's a vegan.." "oh honey, it's okay. don't worry. I can make you something else, whatever you'd like!" Eliza said quickly with a supportive smile, but lena simply shook her head. "it's alright miss dan- Eliza. I don't eat much in the morning anyways, and we should probably get going.." she looked to Alex on the other side of the table who nodded.

"right," Alex swallowed what was in her mouth and stood up. "have a good day at school, girls" Eliza said before disappearing into the kitchen. lena and kara stood up, and Alex told lena she would be waiting outside. kara looked to where her mother had disappeared to and didn't see her, in result kara pressed her lips to lenas softly

a small muffled moan came out between the two of them and their lips lingered for a couple seconds before the two girls pulled away. "have a good day.. text me like yesterday, okay?" kara asked, and lena immediately agreed "of course. see you after school." lena's lips pressed too kara's cheek quick and sweet before lena followed Alex footsteps out of the room.
