Sometimes change is good. And sometimes it's not. That's what I think to myself as I look around the darkened bathroom I've been locked in for the last hour. Change can be refreshing for some people, but for others, it can completely ruin your life. Take my ex-friend Thomas, for example. Totally nice guy, or so I thought, with major OCD. The school changes the grading and curriculum, fine, he can handle that. But then they change where the classes are. Then they start separating genders. And then, TIPPING POINT! They bring in uniforms. He was okay with the first few changes, but as soon as the announcements said that there would be uniforms, something happened. He snapped. I walked through the front doors of the school and watched as he injected the stent beside him with something, causing them to sink to the floor. The person began to twitch and suddenly, they stood up and bit someone! I tried to go back out the door, but as soon as Thomas stabbed the first kid, the school went into lockdown mode. That means that iron walls are keeping everyone outside out, and everyone inside in. Thomas looked at me and smiled, walking towards me. That's when I ran. Now, I've managed to avoid him around the school and have locked me and 2 other girls in the cafeteria bathroom, hoping he doesn't check it.
So, my name is Ten. I'm 19 years old, and this is my story.
