We were on our way to the airport. We had caught a taxi and were now heading to the international airport of (C/N).

We spent the whole of yesterday packing; we were going away for 4 weeks after all. I packed lots of things. Mainly legging and hoodies but also t-shirts and shorts. I'm not sure but I think my mum or dad snuck a dress or two into my suitcase. At the moment I was wearing (F/O). It was mainly (F/C) because it's my favourite colour.

I yawned.

It was around 7 am and I was not ready to get up. If there is no food or no phone then there is no reason to get up. I shouldn't really be using my phone because the flight is around 10 to 12 hours long, I'm not exactly sure, and I want to save my battery for as long as possible.

"Why don't we play I spy?" My mom asks cheerfully . How on Earth does this woman have so much energy... Ah ha! I've got it! She is one of the rare morning people. I've never seen one before though. Hmmm...

"Yes let's." My dad replies, a little less cheerfully, but awake nonetheless.

"Do you want to play sweetie?" My mom asks me.

I murmured something relatively like 'yes' and the game began.

There's nothing like a competitive game of I spy that makes you wake up in the morning. My mum was on 7 points already and my dad on 5, I was dragging behind on 1.

"I spy with my little eye something beginning with... A." My mom says.

"Air?" You can't see air.

"Author?" Nope. Fix the fourth wall please dad. Thank you.

"Airport?" I ask, feeling the taxi pull up to the entrance.

"Oh we're here. Let's go." Wait. What was the answer?

What was the answer?!

We walked into the airport. Honestly, I'd never been on a plane before. I'd been to neighbouring (States/countries) by (car/boat) but never by plane. We walked with our suitcases to baggage drop off and checked in on one of the machines. Then it took a while to get through security. I had a bit of loose change in my pocket which set of the metal detector, delaying the whole line of passengers. It was only a short delay so it was okay. Once we got through security we began looking for somewhere to eat. It was around 10 am now and I hadn't had breakfast. We decided to have brunch at a small cafe in the corner of the commercial area of the airport. I had (F/F). Maybe not the best breakfast choice and it wasn't the nicest but at least it was relatively cheap compared to the other food on the menu.

My parents paid for our meal and we made our way to the boarding area with our hand luggage and sat down waiting for the time to get on the plane. I passed the wait by reading the 2nd volume of Ouran High School Host Club. I love how (hot/cute/annoying ect.) (F/H) is. I wish I could meet them. It would be really weird but cool at the same time. Finally the announcement went so we could get on our flight and go to Japan.

We'd been flying for about 3 hours now and it's  pm. They just handed out lunch and I discovered there are two things I hate about planes. One, the food. It's not even food. I can't even describe it. I don't want to describe it. And two, turbulence. Have you ever tried to go to the toilet, while there is turbulence? If you haven't, I suggest you don't. It's not only scary, it's uncomfortable and quite frankly dangerous. Okay I'm exaggerating a bit. I made my way back to the seat right by the window so I could look out at the ocean/land depending on where we are. As it was a long flight, the seats have TV's so I began looking through the films and found... OMG ITS THE AVENGERS ENDGAME MOVIE! MOM! MOM! MOM! I MUST WATCH THIS! MUUUUUUSSSST!

Yet again after three hours and much emotional trauma, I finished the movie. We were 6 hours into the flight and it's about 6 pm. Dinner is now. But I don't think I can stomach it. Not after that lunch. I decided to read the rest of the Ouran manga.

Later it's 7pm. I'm tired from such a long day. I think I'm going to sleep.

"Mom. Can I sleep?" I ask, leaning onto her shoulder, yawning.

"Sure sweetie."

I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I wake up to a loud alarm. I reach my arm out to switch it off. Instead I accidentally make it louder. At least, it sounds louder. I groggily open my eyes. It's too early to be awake. I yawn and I hear someone behind me cry "I don't want to die." That got my attention. I was awake.

Wide awake.

"Mom. What's going on?" I ask blankly.

"We hit a patch of dry air and the pilots lost control of the plane, the auto pilot has been disconnected and -" My mother was cut off as we hit a large spot of turbulence once more and many screamed. Children began crying. One of air hostesses stood up and began talking to us.

"Passengers of Flight 180, it is inevitable that we will have to perform an emergency landing. Wait for the oxygen masks to drop and perform the brace position shown in the instruction booklet for this airline."

People scrambled for the brace position. Oxygen masks dropped from the ceiling. I looked out my window. We were over Japan. The land came closer and closer. We braced for impact. I looked at my mom, my dad.

"I love you guys."

I closed my eyes and waited for the pain. And then we hit.

Here is part 2! I hope you enjoyed. Part 3 will be out soon, I promise. Bye!

POOF!!!
