~No longer reader POV~
(Instead I, the great narrator, will replace your wise words.)
It was a normal day at Ouran Academy. Classes had ended and the Host club was in full swing. Haruhi was entertaining a couple girls by teaching them how to bake; Hunny was watching them, occasionally stealing a couple cookies; Mori was looking after Hunny while listening to the few girls who thought that they were ignored; the twins were playing the 'Which one is Hikaru?' game and giving the girls their daily dose of twincest; Kyoya was in the corners tallying up the numbers, hoping that the Host Club never blows it's budget, and finally, Tamaki was in the middle of the room, flaunting himself to all the girls, while Renge watched him in disgust.
Eventually it was time for the Host Club to close. The girls left, reluctantly, along with Renge, who said that there was an important update on her favourite game. The hosts were left clearing up their mess from earlier when Haruhi voiced an unspoken question.
"Kyoya-senpai, where were you yesterday? You only came rushing back here when Tamaki called you." The rest of the hosts nodded in agreement. They had all missed Kyoya yesterday. Many of his fans hadn't turned up and therefore hadn't paid. And it was very unlike Kyoya to miss an opportunity to create some extra profit.
"If you must know, I was on an errand for my father at the hospital."Kyoya answered swiftly.
"Why were you there Kyoya?" Kaurou asked.
"Yeah Kyoya. Daddy missed Mommy." Hikaru snickered. Tamaki's face turned beet red and began growing mushrooms in the corner.
"I was visiting a girl. My Father wanted me to question her, seeing as the last time the doctors questioned her she went into shock and then tried to... escape, more or less. The doctors had to sedate her." Kyoya answered once more.
"What's her name Kyoya?" Tamaki demanded, now suddenly interested in the conversation.
"Her name is (Y/n). She's 16 and was injured in a plane crash."
"Well?" Haruhi said, puzzled, "That's it? Surely you know more. You research everyone! You managed to somehow get photos of me that not even my dad has access too. How can you not find information on a girl in hospital?"
"You don't understand. a) She's foreign-"
"Oh, where's she from?" Kaurou interrupted.
"-(C/n). b) It's like she doesn't even exist. I checked the plane files. She was there. But no information. Tried to find information from (C/n) but apparently it's classified. I even used the 'But we need it to help her, she's in hospital' excuse but it didn't work. Nothing works!" Kyoya ranted.
"Why don't you just ask her?" Hikaru said, stating the obvious.
"Because she has bloody amnesia! And what's worse is I can't even read her! It's infuriating!"
"Well why don't you ask someone else on the plane, maybe the pilot can give you access?" Kaurou ventured.
"Because she's the only survivor."
"That's really sad. So how long is she in hospital for?" Hunny questioned.
"She's meant to be in there for four days, today's the second."
"You know, why don't we go visit her? After all she's in hospital for a bit and has seen no one aside from nurses, doctors and Kyoya." Haruhi interjected.
The twins shuddered. 'Poor girl' they thought.
"Alright Hosts. Then its settled. Tomorrow we will visit (Y/n) in hospital!" Tamaki yelled.
"Erm, Kyoya, which hospital is it?" Hikaru asked.
"Ootori Medical. Why?" Kyoya responded.
"Well, isn't that hospital very expensive?"
Kyoya was in thought for a moment.
"Yes I suppose it is."
The Host club was silent for a while. Haruhi rolled her eyes.
"Can she afford it?" She asked.
"I'm sorry what?"
"Can she afford it?" Haruhi repeated.
Out of everything that Kyoya had thought of, he had not yet thought if she could afford it. As he could not access her files from (C/n), he could not find out if she had insurance, and if she couldn't access her insurance, she couldn't pay for the hospital stay. Maybe it's different in (C/n), but at an Ootori medical facility, you had to pay for your stay. And Kyoya was pretty sure that (Y/n) couldn't.
"I'm sorry everyone but due to the afore-mentioned reasons, I need to run an errand." kyoya got up and left calmly. As soon as he left the club room, the Hosts could hear him making vigorous calls to try and sort out this new problem.
"Well," Tamaki stated, "Tomorrow we will visit (Y/n). And you, Twins: No funny business."
The twins smirked.
"No promises."
