16. Taken Away

Evan's pov.

I was picked up by Brock heading to the door. Lui was on Nogla's shoulder and Brian walking right behind us. I saw Delirious open the door then was knocked down by a little girl. The girl looked up.

"Daddy!"

D-da-daddy? Jonathan was a father! H-how?! He never told me he had a kid. I can't believe it. Brian looked at me worried. I shook my head. Jonathan got up having the girl in his arms.

"Well I guess you found her." A woman appeared at the door. She had brown hair and blue eyes. She went to Jonathan and kissed his cheek. I was frozen. I couldn't believe it. I was crying. It hurt. I know now how Luke and Tyler felt. Delirious loved someone else. I thought he liked me. I got out of Brocks hold and flied all the way to Delirious room. I flied into the closet and laid their crying so hard. I can't believe it. I fucking can't believe it! It felt like forever till I heard his voice. "Thanks Terroriser. Go back to Brock, boy." I heard a bark then it was gone. I heard the closet open. I didn't look. I kept looking at the wall till I was picked up. "O Evybear are you ok?" I didn't look at him. He sat down on his bed and started to pet me and scratch where I liked. No, I don't want it. I flied out of his grip and flied to the end of the bed. I looked at him seeing sadness. His eyes showed pain. I didn't know why. He picked me up again. "I'm sorry. If it was something I did. I'm sorry." He started to pet me and kissed my head. I loved him, but I know he didn't feel the same. He has a family. I can't be in the way. Then the little girl came with Lui in her arms and Brian next to her. "Uncle Jon, what is that?" she looked at me. Wait Uncle Jon!

"Daisy come on, stop running off." The woman came scooping her up. She looked at her with her brown eyes.

"I'm sorry Mommy. I just wanted to see Uncle Jon. Where's Daddy? I thought Uncle Jon went to pick him up and we were going to pick him up from here mommy?"

"He's running a bit late. Remember his flight got delayed a bit. Uncle Jon will pick him up and drop him off at home. I'm sorry he isn't here sweet pea. Sorry Little bro. I was going to call but I guess a surprise visit was something she wanted."

"It's fine. To be honest I kind of forgot. Glad you came to remind me. But Thanks for visiting. I missed seeing my first mate."

"Aye aye captian!" Daisy yelled.

"Sucks that Freddy was held up. I'm sure he misses you. But I'll be sure to pick him up when he calls," Delirious says. The woman nods.

"What is that he's holding mommy?" She pointed at me letting go of Lui. "That's an owl. Remember when we walked in when we saw it flying. Uncle Jon explained it to us downstairs. He's taking care of him till he feels better then he's going to set him free again," she says coming close to us. He told them?

"C-can I pet it?" she asked. I smiled. I know it's bad but I'm so happy. She was his Niece! I can't believe it! I have to stop saying that. "Looks like Evybear is ok with that." She let her down letting her pet me. She started to giggle when I went to her hand. I hear ringing. The woman pulls out the phone and answers it.

"Hello?...... Really?!....... No it's fine. We're at my brothers right now visiting. I can come get you, I'm sure Daisy will agree....... Alright see you soon," she says hanging up then looks at Delirious. "Ok Jonathan as much I love visiting my little brother, my husband's plane just landed."

"Daddy's home?" Daisy asks.

"Yes sweetie, now let's go pick him up. Bye Jon," she says giving Jon a hug then picked up Daisy. "Daisy say bye bye to Uncle Jon."

"Bye!" She said. And they were off. I connected the pieces. So that was his sister?! O my god I'm so relieved. Delirious picked me up and headed down stairs. He went to the restroom where he changed my bandage again. "You should really stop flying for a while. Every time you're not near me, I get worried," he said looking at my eyes. I blushed and looked away. Stupid Jonathan. I was happy to have him. He picked me up and went to the living room placing me down and finishing up his food. I looked at his freckles still figuring it out. What else is there that Delirious hasn't told me? Then another knock came. Jonathan signed. "I got it," Brock said walking over to the door. Then Jonathan got a phone call. Must be his sister and probably forget something. He took out his phone from his pocket and went to the kitchen where Nogla was. Nogla asked he could hear and I'm guessing Jon put it on speaker, but I couldn't hear it. I just laid there. I could hear Delirious voice, but not the person on the phone

"Hey Mini are you okay?.......... Wait what?!......... Ok Mini calm down......... What?......... Are you sure?!......... Ok I'm getting Brock. David is right here. He's asking how are they.........Wait they are the animals........ Will be on our way. Will tell Brock on the way there." He hanged up and looked at Nogla shock still. "I need to go find Squeaker," Nogla said going upstairs. Delirious came to the living room sitting back next to me. "Ev-" he was cut off by Brock coming back. "Jonathan it's for you." Delirious was confused. He got up and went to the door. Then someone came. It was a man in a green uniform and he had a cage. He came to me. I was so confused. Another came going around the couch going to me. I was scared now. I hoo'd calling for Delirious, but he didn't come. The man close grabbed me with his hands. It scared me, so I tried getting out of his grip. "Let him go!" I looked to see Delirious punch the guy with the cage. Nogla came pushing the man that held me let me go. Lui came, picking me up, and ran up upstairs where Brian and Brock was. Another one in a uniform came. Brian barked at him scaring him. Then the man pulled out a pole that had a wire. He got it around Brian's head and pulled him. I was scared now. Brock fought him off till a man came behind and held him from behind. Brian was trying hard. He tried going to Brock but the wire around his neck started to show blood. Brock saw that and told Terroriser to stop. Brian looked at him seeing him crying. Brian stopped, being pulled back by the man. The 2 men we saw earlier came. Lui was scared now. One came grabbing Lui and the other grabbed me. He put me in a cage. And Lui in another. They walked outside where I saw Delirious held down being hand cuffed. "Let me go! He needs me! Evan!" Delirious tried so hard getting out of their grip. There was 3 holding him down. They raised him pushing him to the back of the cop car. What is happening!? Did he call me by my name? "Hey! Let the monkey go. I have papers! You can't take him!" Nogla said out of the police mans grip, running to the guy who held Lui but got held back again by 2 other guys. "O really? Where are these so call papers that claims you own this monkey? I'm so sure you don't. He will be sent to the zoo with the owl. It is illegal to keep these animals as pets," she hissed. She wore a uniform that said I work for animal protection or something or law woman. "In my fucking pocket!" Nogla yelled. The police man went through Noglas pocket taking out folded papers. He gave it to her. She opened them reading it. "See. Paper's say I have full custody of him. If you take me to jail or rip those paper and take the monkey I have a lawyer and a witness saying I did own the monkey with permission and government. If you do that to me you go to jail."Nogla grinned now. She looked pissed. "Let him go." The police men let him go and she gave the papers back to Nogla. "Give him the monkey." The animal control guy went to nogla with the cage opening it. Lui ran out and hugged Nogla and was close crying. "Even if you had papers there is none for keeping an owl. So, your friend will be arrested for that. It is illegal to keep one. We drop the charges of you resisting, as well as your other friend. So, have a good day," she grinned walking to her car. The police men went to their car which held Delirious. He hit the window trying to break it but it wouldn't. I could see all over. He tried to get to me. He's doing all this for me to get to me. I cried so hard. They put me in the back of their van and closed it. I could only see through the window. The cop car got out of the drive way and the van to. Delirious was looking through the back window looking at me mouthing something. 'I'm sorry' was I could make out before both cars went different directions. Jonathan! I was scared now. I wanted Delirious. I felt safe with him! Don't take him away from me! I shook the cage hooing. The men were getting annoyed, but I didn't care. I was crying hard now. Why! I laid their crying more and more.
