Ira's breath caught in her throat. Emilia was alive? "Are you sure?" She asked Steve. He nodded, and handed her a picture.

"There was a security camera that caught her going into an abandoned warehouse." Ira looked at the picture. It was definitely Emilia. But she had changed. Her eyes were colder, and she eyed a pedestrian with distrust. Her hair was now shorter, cropped to her shoulders.

"We think," Steve continued, "That that's where she's hiding out. We're gonna move on it tomorrow. So get ready. 'Cause we've got a hell of a fight coming."

They left the room, and Ira walked to her bedroom. She collapsed into the bed as Pietro walked in. He sat on the edge of the bed next to Ira, who was laying down. "What's wrong, dragoste?"

She turned to face him. "Did you see Emilia? She looked so lonely, so angry. I can't help but feel like we did that to her."

He shook his head sadly. "Emilia was on her path of vengeance long before we met her. There was nothing we could do. She was going to help Ultron end the world, so she had to be stopped."

"I guess you're right."

"Of course I'm right," He joked. "Now you should get some sleep. We have an early day tomorrow." Pietro left, and Ira changed into a sweatshirt and comfy pants. She curled up in her head, thoughts of tomorrow's mission racing through her head.

Ira grabbed her jacket from the closet and slipped it on. She ran a brush through her hair, and walked out of the room, and to the kitchen. She made herself a bowl of cereal, and sat on the couch. Clint sat down next to her. "Are you ready for this?" He asked.

She nodded. "I guess I knew I had to face her eventually. I guess today's the day."

"When the time comes, you'll be ready to face her," Clint assured her. "It'll be okay."

Ira finished her cereal, as everyone else trickled into the lounge. Once everyone was ready, they all headed to the Quinjet. By now, Ira was used to it. She sat next to Pietro and Wanda, and slipped her communication device into her ear.

"Alright, you all know the plan." Steve told them. "Clint, you'll take a scan of the building. Then Ira, Natasha, Pietro, Wanda and I will break in and see if we can find Emilia. Sam, Vision, and Rhodey will sweep for stragglers, and make sure that no one leaves. Clint, and Tony, help guard the perimeter. Once it's clear, we'll take in Emilia, and come back. Understand?" He asked. Seeing no questioning looks, he sat down.

Clint sat in the pilot's seat, and they took off. "Are you guys ready to see her?" Ira asked Wanda and Pietro.

"It seems like so long ago since everything happened." Wanda mused. "I guess it gets better over time."

Pietro nodded his agreement. "I've hardly thought about her since Sokovia."

"Maybe that's a bad thing." Ira suggested. "Maybe we should have tried to find her."

"Well, I guess there's nothing we can do now," Wanda stated. "We might as well accept it."

They sat through the rest of the flight in an anxious silence. They landed a mile away from the warehouse, and walked to their positions. Clint fired an arrow at the building, and it stuck to the wall. A red light appeared, and Clint pulled out a transmitter that gave him a thermal scan of the building. "There's only person. At least, one conscious one. The rest of the people seem to be asleep."

"Alright." Steve said. "Move in." Ira, Pietro, and Wanda moved to the back entrance, while Steve and Natasha used the side. Ira used her powers to break the lock, and the door clicked open quietly. They crept in.
