"You're safe," Steve said, stepping forward. "We're the Avengers." The boy showed a slight look of recognition, but it was masked by overwhelming confusion. "We protect people who can't protect themselves."

"You're at the Avengers Facility in Upstate New York." Natasha supplied, stepping forward. "We rescued you from a warehouse in Sokovia."

"The last thing I remember is being taken from my house," the little boy mused, his brown eyes clouded with confusion. "But it wasn't by any of you."

"Did the person who took you have blonde hair and hazel eyes?" Wanda asked, and the boy nodded.

"That's Emilia." Ira told them. "She's locked up in another room. She was the one who took you."

"How did you wake up?" Natasha asked. "You were on a sedative."

The boy shrugged. "I just woke up." Ira walked over to his table, and studied it. The tube distributing sedative seemed to be intact, but the actual bottle was broken. She pulled it out from under the table.

"That explains some things." Clint muttered.

"I'm the only one awake." The boy told them.

"What's your name?" Ira asked.

"My name is Jayden Satton." The boy said. The last name rung a bell in Ira's mind, and she tried to remember where she had heard it before.

"What powers do you have?" Wanda asked him.

"Telepathy."

"That explains the voices," Ira mused. "So it was you?"

Jayden nodded. "I reached out to anyone I could find after I woke up, and I found you." He looked around. "Where's my sister?"

"You have a sister?" Clint asked.

Jayden nodded. "She was taken with me."

"What does your sister look like?" Wanda asked.

"She has long brown hair braided in the back. The last thing I can remember her wearing was a white dress with flowers on it." The name clicked in Ira's head. Satton. It was the last name of Elizabeth, the little girl with pyrokinesis that they had found in the warehouse.

Ira walked through the room until she found Elizabeth. "Is this your sister?" She asked him, and he came over.

"Yes!" He exclaimed. He turned towards the others. "Can you wake her up?" He asked hopefully.

Tony nodded. He walked over towards the table, and unhooked the tube that distributed the sedative. They waited a few seconds, and Elizabeth began to move. First it was only a slight twitching of her arms and legs, and then she groggily sat up. She first noticed Jayden, then the Avengers, and then the group of unconscious Enhanced laying on the tables behind her.

"Jayden?" She asked her brother. "What's going on? Where are we?"

"We're safe." Jayden reassured her, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We're with the Avengers. They rescued us."

Elizabeth's eyes widened. "The Avengers? Like from the TV?" She looked at them all amazed. Ira smiled at the awestruck little girl. Jayden held out his arm, and helped Elizabeth off of the table. She was a little unsteady at first—her muscles were still numb from disuse, but soon she was able to walk again. She ran over to Ira and threw her arms around her.

Ira was taken aback at first, but she smiled, and hugged the little girl. Elizabeth stepped back. "Do either of you remember anything that happened?" Steve asked the children.
