Luke
"I'm going to sit with him today."
Calum looked at me like I was crazy. "And why the fuck are you doing that?"
To be honest I wasn't even completely sure. Since the 9th grade, there's always been a certain thing about him that draws me to want to be closer to that lilac haired boy. Sitting at the table across from him, I admired his soft features, and if I'm being completely blunt, they were stunning.
There was about a minute of silence without him even acknowledging my existence.
"Um, excuse me?" Why the fuck am I so awkward.
"So anyways, I'm Luke. You're michael right? Is it ok if i sit with you?"
The noise he made in response was somewhere between a sigh and a grunt. The rest of the lunch period was spent in silence with his occasional glances at his phone.
In the end we did end exchanging numbers though, if you count me stealing his phone and texting myself from it. But somehow I will find a way to let that boy open up to me.
I'm changing pov's now ok bye.
Michael
My stomach felt sick the second I saw him walking over to me. I mean come on, it was Luke fucking Hemmings. When he sat down, I think he may have said something but I couldn't concentrate properly. It probably didn't help that he's the only person at this school I've ever seemed to take any interest in. I made somewhat of a noise in reply to whatever the fuck he just said.
It seemed lunch would never end. Most of the time was spent exchanging awkward glances. A few minutes before the end of the period, he asked for my number. And of course I declined, being the dumb little shit that I am.
Apparently though, he doesn't take no for an answer and makes a new contact in my phone before getting up from the table, and I admit I may have let slip a little smile.
