"You're going to burn yourself" I said looking at Oliver he laughed
"I have oven mitts on" He said holding up his hand so I could see them
"What about your face the steam will surely bother you" I said
"Do you want me to wear a mask?" He asked sarcastically
"No just be careful" I said
"I will" He said
"It's raining" I said looking out the window
"It's supposed to rain all night" He said taking the pasta out the strainer
"I didn't know" I said
"Foods ready" He said I got up and walked to the kitchen
"It looks good" I said
"Funny you should say that since you were the one who made it" He said
"Where are your plates?" I asked
"Second cabinet to your left" He said I pulled out two plates
"Here you go" I said giving him a plate
"Thanks" He said serving himself he moved aside and I served myself and sat at the table
"Do you want some wine?" He asked
"What kind of wine do you have?" I asked he opened up a small wine cooler in the middle of the island and pulled out two bottles
"I have a red and a white" He said holding the bottles up
"I'll take some white" I said
"Very classy" He said grabbing two wine glasses and poured out the wine
"I don't know about that but I do like white wine more than red wine" I said he nodded
"So how's the food?" He asked
"It's good" I said putting a forkful of pasta in my mouth
"I guess we are a great team" He said
"Did you ever doubt us?" I asked
"No never" He said lightning struck outside the window and I gasped really loudly
"That was extremely close" I said
"I can drive you back to the dorms" He said looking at me
"No I think it's best if we both stayed here and just go to my dorm in the morning" I said he nodded and we ate in silence after we finished Oliver put the leftovers in the fridge and I loaded the dishwasher Oliver pour more wine and we sat on the couch
"Thanks for keeping me company" He said my phone rang and I got up to answer it
"Hold that thought" I said answering my phone
"Hi grandma" I said
"It's me mommy" Emma said giggling
"Hi Princess" I said
"Nana said it's bedtime and I should call to say goodnight" She said
"Goodnight Emma" I said
"Goodnight mommy" She said
"I'm sending you all my kisses and love" I said
"Me too mommy" She said
"I love you Emma" I said
"I love you too mommy" She said I heard shuffling in the background then my my grandma tell emma to go brush her teeth
"Hey Jean" She said
'Hi grandma" I said
"How was your day sweetheart?" She asked
"It was good I spoke to Sean this morning" I said
"Why did you talk to him?" She asked
"Sean has a right to be a part of Emma's life" I said
'He doesn't want her though" She said
"I know that but I can't help but feel like its my fault he doesn't want her" I said
"Don't say that it's not your fault Jean" She said
"I will call you tomorrow to let you know when I'll be going back home for the weekend" I said
"I love you Jean" She said
"Love you too" I said hanging up I sighed really loudly as lightning struck out the window again
'You okay?" Oliver asked
"I'm fine" I said
"Who was on the phone you seem pretty sad" He said
"My grandma" I said
"Is everything okay?" He asked
"Yeah everything is fine" I said
"I left clean Pajamas on my bed for you and there are new toothbrushes under the sink" He said kissing my forehead
"Thanks for letting me stay" I said
"Anytime love" He said walking away
I went into his bedroom and picked up the clothes he had left on his bed and walked to the bathroom his definition of pajamas were totally different from mine but I put them on and washed my face after brushing my teeth a couple minutes went by of debating if I should leave the bathroom the way I was dressed
"Are you okay in there?" Oliver asked knocking on the door I sighed and opened the door
"Yeah I'm okay" I said he looked at me with concern and then nodded
"I made some tea" He said I smiled at him and took my folded clothes out of the bathroom
"Thanks for the pajamas" I said looking down and the plain white t-shirt that went down past my thighs covering the pair of black boxers he had given me
"You're welcome" He said looking at me he pressed me up against the wall and kissed me I wrapped my hands around the base of his neck letting my fingers get lost in his hair he moaned softly into the kiss and lifted me up so my legs could wrap around his waist he pulled away and started kissing my neck I moaned at the sudden new feeling
"We should stop" I whispered he pulled away and looked at me
"You don't want to continue?" He asked
"I do but not right now" I said he nodded and put me back down gently
"I'm going to take a quick shower the tv remote in on the coffee table" He said walking into the bathroom and shutting the door
