Souda shook his head, attempting to process what Hajime had just explained to him "dude that's... kinda bizarre. are you sure it wasn't like, your head or anything" he asked, a bead of sweat slid down the side of his head.  hajime rolled up the newspaper he, coincidentally, had beside him, and aggressively  brought it down on the back of his head "would I make this shit up!?" He snapped. souda held the back of his head, studdering in pain "ow ow ow ow!!!!!" He hissed "okay okay I apologize!" he waved his hands in the air "please!" he begged. hajimes eyes widened, remembering that the white-haired male had done the same exact thing in defense. he explained to souda the whole situation, not leaving out a single detail, no matter how small it may seem "this..might sound dumb but you said their teeth were sharp, right?" souda asked. hajime didn't understand the origin of his question but replied regardless "yeah. almost like needles. it was odd. I thought maybe it was a cosplay thing or a kink??" he sighed. souda fidgeted, it was clear he had something to say but was holding back from saying it. Hajime wanted to force him to spit it out or else he would make him work twice as hard at work "have you considered....vampires?" souda asked. His voice began to cut off as he continued the question "the sharp teeth, the pasty skin, the interesting places they tou-" Hajime covered Souda's mouth before he could finish "OK! We get it!" he blushed with embarrassment. it wasn't like he wanted them to do it, in fact, he could easily report them for sexual harassment "but, vampires? that's a little farfetched" although he wouldn't deny that it wasn't impossible. hajime had been a  believer of the supernatural and superhuman, but his belief wasn't as strong as other stereotypes met "im glad you were able to leave without getting hurt though.

its a little unfortunate that i couldnt help you out, i really do apologize" souda bowed for the 100th time that day. ever since he picked up Hajime, he's been apologizing non-stop, blaming himself for the events that took place during his disappearance. hajime had told him it was fine, he didnt really care that souda had let them practically kidnap him "i do...have to go back for my work clothes though..." hajime rubbed the back of his head. it was true. he had left his work attire at their residence, and as much as he wasnt looking forward to going back, he hoped he would run into izuru to atleast give him a proper thanking. Their home was nice, it was luxurious, and from what hajime saw, defenitely large. having nice, expensive things was something hajime never had the luxury having. His parents passed when he was 18, and he had to work his way into getting a home. all the while he worked 2 jobs. now that he was older, he could only manage 1 job. The working from his younger days took a toll on his stamina and mental health, therefore he couldnt respond to a number of situations. he would have much rather killed himself then worked his ass off everyday 8: am to 2: am for 2+years. The only reason he was alive now was due to the help and support his friends offered him, but as he progressively got closer to them, he began declining their offers, feeling if he didnt, he would be taking advantage of them, and hajime didnt want that outcome, even if it meant he would go broke or hungry "its getting late, i think i'll head home" souda grunted, standing up and stretching "are you sure you dont wanna stay the night at my house? you look...kinda sick man"

oh...right. i havent eaten in a while. how long was i out? "I'm sure. i can take care of..myself" hajime replied. souda shrugged and hajime heard the door close behind him as he left. Now that he had properly evaluated everything, how long had he been out?  Aslong as he was convinced, he felt fine, Minus a faint headache and a scratchiness in his throat. Hajime took a look around his small apartment, it was fairly plain. his walls were a cream yellow, giving the living room a cozy feeling, and plants sat at two corners of the room, their leaves shown off with pride and a bright green finish. Hajime appreciated having plants in his home. even if he did live alone, atleast he had more than one living thing in his apartment. it was a small thing really, but it meant something to him. hajime stood, stumbling into the kitchen. He promptly made himself a bowl of noodles, and plopped down on the couch.
