hajime couldn't quite believe the astonishing detail the house held. the bathroom had large glass windows, silk curtains hanging from a beam above the shower, the scene was ideal for someone who was of old age, maybe an antique lover. none of the vampires seemed to be into antique, though Hajime couldn't speak for all of them. shuichi had been naming things off, showing Hajime neat features that came along with the house. most Shuichi brushed off, explaining how none of them were really into the small secrets the house held. hajime found them pretty interesting, though he was the type to appreciate small features, let it be gifts he's received or just small detail. he wasn't really the type for large, extravagant things "this house is pretty different. did the house come like this?" Hajime asked, allowing his hands to travel over the granite counter of the sink "yeah, pretty much. you don't think any of us would decorate the house to look like this, do you?" Shuichi chuckled. hajime shook his head "you read my mind"  the home was cozy, and Hajime wouldn't have it any other way. Wait? what was he saying. he doesn't live here. he's become so comfortable with the place he began to wish he did. living with the three males would be difficult, especially for Hajime, knowing the little secret they homed "oh! u-um..." Hajime began, though he couldn't form any words. shuichi turned to Hajime, leading him to the dining room "is something wrong?" he asked. Hajime scratched the side of his head, cursing how godawful he was at forming sentences "komaeda...told me about...you guys. the fact that you're.. you know" Shuichi's eyes lowered "him and his big mouth" Hajime heard him sigh "no no it wasn't his fault! I pushed him to tell me.

I'm sorry. I get why you guys would want it as a secret" Shuichi stayed silent, before looking up at Hajime "well...if he told you what we were, did he tell you how we got like this?" the question came as a shock for Hajime, one, because it wasn't something he was expecting Shuichi to come forward and ask so blatantly, and second, he assumed they were born that way. Now that he was looking back, it wasn't very polite of him to make assumptions "uh... he...didn't" Hajime admitted, though he felt a bit foolish. shuichi pat an empty spot on the couch beside him "well today's your lucky day! I'll tell you. of course, if you want to know?" Hajime nodded, reluctant to hear the Intel "hmm...well I may not be entirely accurate with my story, but I'll do my best for you" Shuichi smiled, though Hajime saw the pain in his smile "let us begin. as a child, I was able to explore the places around my home, freely. of course, at this time I wasn't a vampire. I was like you. I guess I was what some would refer to as an "aristocrat" though I could tell you I was far from it. I lived with my uncle, who was a pretty well-known detective in our home town. we were invited to parties and large celebrations because of his reputation...." shuichi paused "we went to a celebration that was being held in the heart of our town. unfortunately,we were there at a bad time. the building went up in flames for whatever reason, being the 7 year old child i was, i had no idea it was an attack. i searched for my uncle, but i couldnt find him. he died in the fire" Hajime could feel the heavy feeling of sorrow in the air, he couldnt help but sympathize with the poor boy "fast forward a year or so, i was homeless. i was awfully small for an 8 year old. and then thats when i met him...izuru. I guess he was going to kill me, becuase i knew that hungry look in his eyes. i was prepared to die though, its kind of sad.

you can imagine how disappointed i was when he left me alive. i was rather intimidated, as anyone would be. izuru has a kind heart you know. he told me, after bringing me back here, that if it had been anyone else, he would have most likely killed them. he took me in, taught me how to hunt for my food, and at times where i couldn't, I went hungry" shuichi laughed, his eyes wandering over the room "at first i didnt understand why he was teaching me to catch rodents, but....after he had bitten me, i stopped eating the food that i normally enjoyed. after that, i stopped eating completely. i guess i was upset that he had done it without my saying so. he would force feed me, telling me that he didnt save me just to let me die, and if i wanted to go so bad, he wouldnt hesitate to put me out. it scared me so bad i agreed to eat animals. and then after a few years of learning to control myself, izuru stopped bugging me. he let me go outside, work, do things" hajime hadnt noticed before, but the entire time shuichi had been speaking, a pool of sweat had formed between his palms. he was nervously listening the whole time, his hands holding one another like his life depended on it "thats...." hajime began. had izuru really been that way? hajime had never seen izuru in any other state besides his normal monotone estate, so he couldnt imagine the tone izuru would have carried during shuichis moments, though he had a good idea in his mind. shuichi looked amused, it was almost scary "dont worry. im okay now..though back then it was extremely difficult to endure the hunger pangs" shuichi reassured the poor, clammy hajime "i wish i could tell you komaedas story, but i dont know too much about him. izuru brought him home one day, it was awfully dold that day. snow everywhere" hajime couldnt help but wonder if thats where his complexion had come from. his skin was porcelain, his eyes were nothing but slits of greyish-green that hajime knew saw right through him everytime, and his touch. hajime had only felt it once, but how he longed to feel it on his bare skin, though he would never admit it, poor Hajime had been fantasizing about him "its pretty late. its practically 3:am" shuichi gasped. hajime hadnt noticed how late it had began to get, and he instantly blurted out the first thing that came to mind "shit, soudas probably asleep. theres no way i can get him to pick me up-"  hajime groaned
