after an excruciatingly long day at work, Hajime felt relieved when he sat on the bench outside of the building. his legs finally stopped throbbing, and the blood began to rush back to his feet. Today was the day. friday, everyone's favorite day out of the week that was hell-bent on making all of mankind suffer, though that wasn't the excitement Hajime shared. Today, he would go back to the house belonging to the three males that entered the bar just a few days ago. he couldn't quite understand why he looked forward to his visit. it would only be for a little bit, to retrieve the attire he had left. his chest throbbed as his memories slowly brought up the image of the snow-haired male. initially, Hajime hadnt really cared for these strangers, in fact, he could easily do without, but the male appeared in his head, regardless of how hard he attempted to be-rid of the thoughts. The green-eyed vampire made Hajime instinctively shiver, especially because of the event that took place prior to Hajime going back home. As if the devil himself had heard hajimes thoughts, a soft voice cut through hajimes thoughts, intruding his head "I didn't think you'd still work here. shouldn't you be resting?" the moon hit the male perfectly, pale moonlight accentuated his white hair and pasty skin, his green eyes bright with curiosity "n-nagito?" Hajime stuttered, unbelieving that the male who had intruded his thoughts just a second ago was standing before him in the most dramatic way possible "and you are?" nagito chuckled "you know, we never got your name now that I think about it. allow me to re-introduce myself. I'm nagito komaeda, 27, and very sorry for what I did to you. and you are?" his voice sounded so genuine, it was difficult to believe it was the same person from just a few days ago "Hajime. I'm Hajime Hinata. 24, and I accept your apology, mostly" Hajime added.

Nagito released a soft laugh "in all seriousness... I really am sorry for before. that must have scared you" he sighed, taking a seat beside Hajime. his gaze shifted , meeting his eyes with sadness "its okay. p-please don't give me that face. I just want to know why you did it. it was kind of unexpected and uncalled for" Hajime scolded him. he did admit it gave him a scare, it was so sudden "if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. you sure do ask a lot of questions" Hajime ignored the last statement, cocking an eyebrow at the previous one. he didn't understand, what excuse could the male come up with that sounded so impossible Hajime wouldn't believe him "just spit it out" he sighed. nagitos eyes widened before he placed his head in his hands. his face was hidden in his hands as he let out a frustrated exhale "I'm a vampire" he mumbled. hajime sat silently, did he hear him correctly, had he just said, vampire? "y-you're kidding right" Hajime stuttered, laughing nervously. he expected nagito to laugh along with him, yet his hands continued to act as a resting place for the poor boy "y-you...arent kidding, are you? I guess souda was right then" Hajime finally replied. this seemed to peek the boy's interest, his head lifted and he turned to Hajime "you accepted it that easily?" he asked. hajimes eyes caught sight of his fangs, the sharp needle points in his mouth gleamed in the moonlight, as if the universe wanted him to accept it already "yeah...." Hajime responded "I guess it adds up. the sharp teeth, the constant staring of my, eh" Hajime rubbed his neck nervously, hoping nagito would get it without an accurate depiction of where their attention was brought to most of the time "I'm sorry. your blood just smells really good. we've all been on edge you know" Hajime frowned. He wasn't expecting such a direct proclamation "my blood? you can...nevermind. I thought everyone's blood was the same. what makes me so special" Hajime looked down at his feet. He didn't understand what this feeling was.

his chest felt tight as he asked the question. was there some type of hope that he was special because nagito wanted him to be? he quickly waved the thought away. it was foolish to think such a thing. it was instinctual obviously "i-" nagito began before covering his mouth "hey? are you okay?" Hajime asked with concern. nagito nodded, pulling his hand away "it's getting late. I've got to head home" nagito began to stand before Hajime gripped his sleeve. they both sat awkwardly, looking at each other with dumbfounded expressions on their faces. hajime panicked, not knowing why he suddenly grabbed hold of nagitos clothing "I-I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, pulling away "i... I left my clothes...at your house" Hajime quickly choked out. nagitos lips slowly pulled into a smile, and he began to laugh. they started out as low chuckles, but soon he was stifling his laughter with his hands "you're a hopeless case. let's go Hajime. I'll show you the way" he extended his hand, helping Hajime off of his feet. instead of questioning his actions, Hajime obeyed. He felt like he knew this stranger a bit better, even if before he acted like an absolute creep. It was still a bit difficult for Hajime to grasp the idea that he was a vampire, and even though everything lined up, it failed to make sense in his mind. They walked silently, side by side under the moons watchful eyes. Nagito towered over Hajime a few inches as they walked, making Hajime walk in his shadow "if you're a vampire, it's safe to assume that goes for Shuichi and izuru?" Hajime asked. nagito only nodded "How did you g-" nagito shot Hajime a strict glare, letting Hajime know that he was running his mouth once again, "you ask too many questions. just enjoy the weather you dummy" his glare softened, yet Hajime could tell he hit a nerve. the rest of the way only carried silence amongst the two. hajime felt too intimidated to introduce a conversation topic, and he knew, in the end, he would end up rambling and only get on nagitos nerves.
