Izuru leaned on the staircase, peering down at shuichi and hajime below. Nagito hovered beside him, mumbling profanities underneathe his breath. His neck ached with numbing pain, and he had been more than welcome to feed izuru, but he hadn't expected the way he had been handled. Izuru was a rough person, he didn't mean to do the things he did, he just did them without giving a second thought. nagito didnt mind it, but he hated when the action was unexpected "They're talking you know. It's rude to eaves drop" nagito huffed. Izuru turned to look at him, narrowing his eyes "as if I haven't caught you listening in on conversations before" he replied. Nagito crossed his arms, knowing that he was right. Nagito had been one to listen in on conversations, but that was only because he wanted to know what was going on. He would admit, he was a pretty nosy person, but he would rather listen In on conversation rather than approach izuru or shuichi about it straight up, and risk getting an earful "that's because nobody ever tells me anything" nagito slipped past izuru, making his way downstairs "if a murderer is on the loose, would you tell a infant of it?" Izuru asked. Nagito turned to him, met with a sly smile from the ruby-eyed vampire "children do not need knowledge on what they cannot understand" his voice was almost mocking, a tone of which nagito had known all too well. He scoffed, stomping down the stairs. Shuichi had adverted his gaze, looking at nagito with concern. Hajime turned aswell, following shuichis gaze. Nagito must have had quite a terrifying expression, because both males quickly looked away. Nagito wasn't in the mood for their personal feelings, instead he'd rather have Hajime beside him. It was always Hajime that seemed to calm his nerves. He wondered if hajime had felt the same. Did he want to be around nagito? Did his chest ache when he was near? What did he want. All questions that nagito wanted an answer to "Shuichi told me that I could stay the night.

I was going to ask izuru if that was okay" hajime was visibly nervous, fiddling with his fingers. Nagito sighed, plopping besides Hajime, making the spiky brown haired boy jump "he won't mind. It's not like we can kick you out. It's too late now" nagito chuckled. Hajime pouted, the fact that nagito had even considered kicking him out was a bit hurtful. Shuichi nodded "Ah, izuru won't mind. He doesn't sleep at night anyway. He's up all night, asleep in the morning until 7 pm" shuichi seemed to hesitate before adding "at least, that's how it was before. Anyway! He won't mind" he smiled. Hajime sighed, taking a second to consider. Nagito examined his features, given now was the perfect time because he was distracted. His eyes glazed over Hajimes tanned skin, noticing small beauty marks. His spikey brown hair that looked like it hadn't been brushed, and his eyes. His green eyes that nagito would love to see contort with anything, anything besides the boring expression he homed. He wanted to see the expressions the male would make when nagito touched him, wanted to see him in pain. Nagito knew this fascination wasn't natural, but he couldn't control it. Hajime smelled so nice, it was hard to stay away. Without noticing, nagitos hand crept towards Hajimes hand that was softly placed beside him. His finger sliding in his sleeve, brushing over the boys wrist. He watched Hajime flinch, finally snapping out of his state. His hand twitched as nagito slid higher onto his arm "I'LL STAY!" Hajime blurted out, jerking away from nagito, who grinned innocently, as if nothing had happened. Hajime avoided eye contact, though nagito could tell his face was painted rose. Shuichi put his hands up in defense, waving them "No need to shout. I'll show you to your room if you want" nagito enthusiastically shook his head "I can show him!" He exclaimed. Hajime had no time to protest as nagito grabbed his wrist, pulling him to his feet.

"Hey! W-wait a second!" He cried, though nagito had already brought him to a room. He swung the door open, and Hajime was greeted with a  blinding, white, light. His eyes adjusted as he began to examine the room.  A large bed was placed in the middle of the large room, silk curtains surrounded it, hanging from a wooden beam that circled the bed. A nightstand sat beside the sleeping area, a single lamp, plain and simple, propped onto a silver stand of some sort "How do you like it!" Nagito asked, releasing Hajimes wrist. Hajime scratched the side of his head, not knowing how to reply to his question "it's...nice I guess. You didn't have to give this place to me i would have been perfectly fine on the couch" he nervously sighed. nagito pointed to the door across from hajimes "my rooms right there if you need anything. izurus is besides yours, and shuichis is just beside mine. its perfectly fine, so if you need anything, let me know" he cheerfully replied. hajime nodded. nagitos gaze lingered on hajime before he pulled hajime to his chest "hey..im sorry okay? please dont be afraid of me" nagito mumbled in the males hair. hajimes eyes widened in surprise, as he didnt know whether to hug him back or let the vampire have his moment "im...trying so hard..." he whispered, his hands climbing hajimes back "nothing i do...will ever be good enough...right?" hajimes breathing went shakey, as he put his hands on nagitos chest, attempting to escape his grasp. unfortunately, the male was so much more stronger than him, and his attempt went unnoticed "hey, d-dont say that. im not scared of you. you're just..really unexpected" hajime tried to convince him. nagitos finger traced the indent in his back, making hajime gasp out "Stop-"  hajime hissed. nagito ignored him, lifting his chin "if i could just be greedy, selfish even, for one second " hajime felt his lips against his own, pulling him into a soft kiss. hajime growled, biting nagitos lip, making him pull back. hajime stumbled, stepping away from nagito "i said get... OUT!" hajime shouted, practically kicking him out the door, slamming it shut in his face. It had been a struggle ridding nagito of the room, and hajimes stomach curled at the thought of what face he would make in the morning. a fraction of him didnt want to exit the room, especially becuase incidents similar to which he experienced, always happen. although hajimes mind was swirling with thoughts, one thing weighed heavier than all the others, and that was his will to rest.
