Hajime could hear the males talking amongst themselves in low, hushed voices. He assumed they spoke of how big of an idiot he had just made of himself, and he didn't blame them at all. He couldn't understand what it was, but the way they looked at him and presented themselves was that of a animal showing it's strength before completely devouring it's prey. He didn't mean to be nosy, but their whispers grew louder, and he was curious as to what they were talking about. He took a few steps closer, making it out to be as if he was making their drinks, when really he was eaves dropping, and very obviously so.
"What is wrong with you?" Izuru hissed, irritation in his voice. Hajime imagined he was scowling at whoever he spoke to. There was silence amongst them before he heard nagito reply "I'm sorry, it's hard for me to control myself. I'm hungry" his reply was more whiney if anything "you smelled it too right? It's strong. It smells good" this statement came odd to hajime. What did he smell? Was the scent of liquor bothering him, or was it Hajime himself? He took care of himself fairly well, so there was no way he could smell so awfully "of course I did you blundering buffoon" izurus voice came again and they fell silent. Hajime took this second of silence as an advantage and began walking towards the three.
The drinks he had prepared sat in the tray he carried in his hands, the red and yellow liquid inside smelled of mango and sugar. Hajime had personally never been a fan of sugar. It wad something he got pestered about, daily by his close friends, ibuki, souda of course, and occasionally chiaki. He didn't hear from chiaki all that much anymore. She would disappear for a few days, months, sometimes a year, and then talk to Hajime for a bit, only to do it all over again. He didn't mind though. Ibuki, a loud mouth rockstar wannabe that Hajime met in college, usually kept him entertained. It was hard to be bored around her. Her character was always so peppy and even if some would call her personality off-putting, Hajime enjoyed her company. He placed the three drinks infront of the males and smiled nervously "enjoy your drinks"
Nagito placed his mouth on the straw, taking a big gulp of the drink. His eyes lit up and he tapped the male, whos name Hajime had remembered, izuru, on the shoulder and grinned at him. He reminded hajime of a child, the way he bright grey eyes showed excitement and happiness, he almost forgot just how terrifyingly breathtaking he really was. In reality though, nagito was just a hoppy and energetic adult. Izuru obviously didn't share his excitement at all, but he took a sip of the drink aswell. It was clear to Hajime that he didn't mind the drink. He didn't show any signs of discomfort, but he also didn't seem to show any feeling of happiness either. Hajime couldn't help but think that this man really was void of any human emotion. The blue haired male sitting beside nagito, took a sip of the drink along with the others. Hajime had remembered his name being shuichi. It was an odd name. Very off putting because it seemed so out there.
Nagito gave Hajime a stare. It blazed with hunger, and Hajime could feel the floor beneathe him begin to shaped itself to nothing. His head felt light, like it had magically been filled to the brim with helium and his legs threatened to fall beneathe his figure "hey, are you okay?" He heard nagito ask. He opened his mouth, attempting to reply, but he couldnt. The world swirled around him, a mass of colors, before everything went black. Hajime expected to hit the ground, but instead he landed in the arms of a black haired individual. He couldn't make out any details, the features of his savior swirled into color, and he heard hectic voices. Some sounded panicked, one sounded concerned.
"He passed out, what should we do?"
The voice was soft, only ringing a bell as shuichis genlte tone.
".....He looks worn out. The fool most likely over-worked himself. It is not our duty to babysit" izuru. Hajime already knew. He could feel the vibrations of his voice through his chest, as Hajime was leaning right up against him. He felt embarassed. Not only had he practically passed out, but he also managed to somehow end up in the arms of one of the males, and it just had to be the uptight one. Hajime would have much rather ended up in nagitos arms. He processed what he had just thought, before coming to the realization WHAT AM I THINKING! hajimes face went red before burying it in izurus chest unintentionally. he would much rather die now, then end up in this situation, it was unprofessional and he was with three random strangers that could easily be a shady group of pedophiles, so why? why didnt he run. simply becuase he couldnt "what do we do with him then?" shuichi asked "...he doesnt look too good i think it would be for the best if we took him home..." hajimes heart thumped loudly against his chest. did they mean...their home? of course not. nobody normal would take an , assumed, unconcious male to their home, let alone a complete stranger. izuru must have felt his heart rate hit the mph and shifted, leaning hajime on his shoulder "......" the world finally swirled for the last time before hajime went completely unconcious. only leaving the world around him to disappear.
