it was afternoon in the guild hall. the guild hall was empty except those adventurers turning in a quest or adventurers who decided to be drunk for the whole day while some tried to win over the heart of the guild receptionists
"can you believe I Defeated a whole gang of bandits with this spear of mine" a adventurer in dark blue steel armor holding his spear loosely in one hand is talking to the guild receptionist violet
"oh that must be very tiresome" she put on a smile like she always does. her hair tied up with a purple bow
"it really really is. you can't imagine how tiresome it is! my muscles are aching because of it" he flexes at miss violet
"oh then you should but a stamina potion"
the stamina potion In the guild are very weak compared to the one merchants and mages are selling. because of it the guild receptionist are always selling potions when they get the chance to do so
"if its coming from you I'll get 10" violet grab a peace of paper and put it on the desk
"please put your signature here"
the door bursted wide open everyone looked at the person who opened the door and it was.
"Miss violet were back!" Felix smiled brightly his tail wagging fast and running toward her. satku behind him trying to keep up to Felix
"Ah Felix your here!" her attention went to Felix. her smile look unique when it was Felix. it was more brighter than usual
as Felix pass the adventurer he clicked his tongue and went to another guild receptionist to fill his order
"miss violet are there any quest available!"
"Yes there is but first you seem exhausted. do you want some tea Felix and satku?"
"I would love some" Felix gave a smile Smile satku just nodded
"I'll be right back" violet went to the back room to make the tea
Felix and satku sat on the chair beside violets desk waiting for her. Felix opened his leather bag and grabs a Apple and eats it while Satku counting the money they earned yesterday
"Sorry it took so long" violet came out with a tea set with bread and biscuit. She set it down on her desk. Filling both Satku and felixes cup
"No problem miss violet" Felix drank the tea in the cup. Satku does the same. They both feel relaxed and full of energy
"This taste amazing!" Felix with a biscuit in his mouth
"What is this tea" Satku ask Violet
"Its my special blend" she sip and smiles
Her "special blend" wasn't so special. It was just a expensive type of tea that she uses in special occasions. The taste was very sweet and blocked the secret of the effect of the tea. A stamina potion
"Felix are there any quest today?"
"Yes they is but mostly house sitting and shop keeping"
"Oh..."
Suddenly the door to the guild opened yet again and everyone looked at the man running to violet desk. His clothes were made with high quality linen and there was something hanging around his neck. A golden pass given to merchants.
"C-can I put up a quest!" He said to violet wiping his sweat and panting
"What is the quest about?" She gave a weak smile
"Monsters attacked my caravan. They stole everything! My daughter and horses even the food I was gotta sell!"
"And?" She said in a short tempered tone
"I-i want someone to rescue my daughter!"
"How much is the reward?"
"20 gold and 5 silver pieces!"
Violet starts writing all the information the merchant said and places it in the desk and places
"Please sign it" the man signs the paper with his signature.
"Thank you sir for making a quest. Now comeback in a few days or you can wait here in the guild we can offe-"
"My daughter need to be saved Now! Can't the guild do anything!" The man slams violets desk making a loud thud. Everyone in the room went silent and looked at them both
"I'm sorry the guild can't do anything" she said with a weak smile still on her face
"Please anyone save my daughter!" The man's eyes begin to tear up. No body listened to him.the adventurer just go about their day drinking and flirting with the guild receptionist
"Look old man" a adventurer with Black hair scars on his arms and face and a long sword in his back and a scabbard concealing it except the handle of the sword which was made with iron and leather. The guild suddenly became quiet
"Its not that we don't want to help you. It's just your daughter is dead by now. Just accept it and move on with your life"
"S-she is not dead!. S-she cant be dead..." the man Went on his knees. He knew that the adventurers words were true.
"I-i shouldn't have brought her with me" he said while tears are falling down his cheek. His memories with his daughter playing in his minds like a movie. To the day she was born to the way he imagine his daughter Gruesome Death. The thought of the possibilities of what could happen to her. A painless death or being rape by the monster
"So might as well use that money to buy something nice. I'll be honest the reward is not worth having with a quest like yours. Just give up and move o-"
"I will take your quest!" Felix suddenly stood up after sitting still silent while drinking his tea. Soft whispers can be heard from the different adventurers watching
"Y-you will?" The man looked at Felix wiping his tears away
"Me and my partner will rescue your daughter" Satku suddenly stood up with Felix
"T-thank you..." still wiping his still dry
"Miss violet can you give me the detail of the quest again" Felix looked at violet with a stoic look
"The monster brought the daughter in the cave near the mountains"
"What type of monster is it?" Felix ask
"I don't know..." the man said
"you don't know?"
"yes. my daughter was taken by a black thing. I didn't really see it all too well"
"that doesn't really help a lot" Felix sighs
"Sorry..."
The adventurer looked at Felix
"Oh reaaaly how can a beginner like you save a girl. you'll probably just die and cause trouble to adventurers. who are gives quest to find you" he starts to chuckle
"am I right Guys?. how many times we've seen this happen many times. A beginner wants to save a girl to feel better for himself or some bullshit reasoning then us adventurer will have to pick up there tags." He goes closer to Felixes face
"Now,now,now why not let the dear boy do the quest. If he dies, well he dies. Beside from the way he looks no one would mind if his gone" a adventurer with a bow and quiver Strap on his back stared at felixes ear and tail
"Beside we adventurer do it for the money right? Let this boy do just that"
"But" The adventurer with the long sword party grabbed him and whispered in his ear. The adventurer gave a sigh
"Adventurer code Huh? That sounds bullshit but what can I do. Good luck Kid" him and his party walked outside
Just like that the adventurers who were crowding Felix just went back to what they were doing
"Felix?"
"Miss violet I'll be leaving now... let go Satku" his face looking down as he said that. His voice cracking up and his cheeks red. And Satku chugs down his tea follows Felix out
