They went deeper and deeper in the seemingly endless abyss cave
They went ahead, the fighters on the back while the mages with their spells and wishes supporting the front, but one mage was drained, he limped and struggling to catch his breath
Aoi concerned for Felix asked him "do you want to rest for a moment?"
No response came from Felix, he walked slower and slower until he just stood still, his back against the wall, exhausted from the magic he dispelled
As his hand touched the wall, the wall emitted a dark aura, then it revealed writings on the wall
Ruri was amazing from the sight of it all and started deciphering the message, Satku and Aoi resting but still on guard for monsters and traps
Then a strange voice whispered to Felix
"The nightshade" Felix and Ruri both said it at the same time
The three of them stayed silent because while Satku had no clue what was going on
Felix was pale, even paler as he was before, same with Ruri and Aoi
They were in a labyrinth, but not just any labyrinth, they were in the nightshade. The labyrinth that was destined to be the base of the demon lord
The nightshade teleports randomly after a demon lord is defeated, its minion and the generals of the demon reside inside of the deepest part of the labyrinth
It was silent as Aoi tell Satku what was the nightshade
Fear, confusion consume their thoughts, they could escape but monsters could have blocked the entrance or the village may be destroyed if they do not do anything
Tears formed on the three-party member but the weak tired Felix stands up
"Don't worry you three, i will protect you* he smiles to reassure them and raise his gauntlet and head deeper inside the nightshade
