Weeks has pass since I was in a quest. It's very boring in the guild. Watching adventurers come and go while I'm stick here because of miss violet
"I wish I could do something. Anything!" I said while lying down on the bed
Suddenly somebody knocked on the door
"Felix, May I come in?" A heard a voice coming from a matured women
"Of course you can"
The person who knocked went inside. It was miss violet
"Good news felix" she said with a bright smile
"good news?"
"the guild well… me grant you to do quest again!"
"oh… oh!" my ears perked up a little
"thank you miss violet!" i tried keeping a straight face but i ended up smiling in the end
she gave a soft "your welcome" and left to do her job.
i prepared my gear. a small dagger, healing potions and stamina potions.
as i leave the guilds medical hall to the guilds main room. it was early in the morning. adventurers rushed toward the guild board to get there quest.
bandit hunting,slaying quest and normal quest like helping a baker bake or something like that
i decided to sit where i normally sit. near where i can see the quest board and miss violet at the same time. a young boy with dog ears walked toward me, it was Satku. he sat beside me with a quest on hand
"miss violet told me you can quest again. so i picked a quest for us" he handed me the quest paper
the quest was about a small town losing farm animals and sometimes women to a near by goblin cave. reward is thirty silver
"we cant do this Satku. the quest money is too low for us to risk our lives to do" i said looking at the quest carefully
"thirty silver is a lot for a quest like this but. without a proper party its not worth it"
"But. You need to train with your new hand erh…. Gauntlet"
I look at my hand. moving my fingers and turning it into a fist. the metal feels like flesh…
As i was lost at looking at the gauntlet. i heard a soft voice that slowly got louder
"hello?" and then
"hello!!!"
a girl with a wooden stick with a crystal on top of it waved at my face to get my attention
"Finally you noticed me! i thought you were brain dead" i looked closely at her. she had white hair, blue eyes and pale skin. she wore a blue sweater and a sky blue scarf
"hellooooo?" she continued waving at my face
"what do you w-want?"
"i was wondering if you and your little friend here already have a party? you see me and my friend over there need people" she points at a girl sitting down and looking at us. she looks away from us suddenly
"i dont th-"
"will do it. Right Felix?" He looked at me with a smile on his face.
"Yes we will do it"
"Great! Oh right we haven't introduce ourselves Right? Anyway my name is Araya Aoi but you can call me Aoi and my friend over there is Imaede Ruri but you can call her Ruri"
"Oh am Felix Alderman but you can call me Felix and my friend who you've met is Satku"
"Oh nice to meet you Satku" she pets Satkus head
"Nice to meet you too!" His tail wags
I left the both of them to uhm… bond? I guess anyway I walked up to the girl who I presume is Imaede Ruri
"Hello Ruri" I said as I wave at her
She jumped as i said hello
"Uh! Hello" it seems I scared her?
After a while Satku and Aoi left to buy gear for their quest. She asked me to keep Ruri company while they bought the things we need
"Uhm… so…Ruri correct?"
She puts down the book she was reading
"You are correct" she said with a straight face
Her personality change
"What's your class Ruri?"
"Mage"
"That's cool"
"I guess"
Atleast pretend that you are interested!
she closed her book and asked
"what happened to your hand?" she started to stare at it
"i got into a accident with a quest"
"Oh really what happened?"
"i got hurt real bad. then i wore the gauntlet"
"thats it?"
"yes"
now i feel bad…
looking at her closely… shes really beautiful
short dark blue hair and pale and smooth skin. her deep red eyes that looked like ruby
i ended up staring at her while she was reading
"Hello!"
i jumped as she said hello
"Gah!"
Aoi looked at me and gave me a devilish smile. she went close to me and whispered
"You know. take that book away and she'll do anything for it"
she winked at me with that smile on her face
i turned extremely red when she said that. Ruri glanced at me. i covered my face fast
"Sister Aoi i got everything we need" Satku Smiled
"aww cute" Aoi pets Satku for a while. lucky him.
"Ruri, Felix lets go" she pointed to the two of us then at the door
Ruri continued reading her book
"G-give it back" Aoi got her book
the timid Ruri is back
"Quest now!" Aoi pointed again at the door
"Yes mam!"
Ruri left the guild following me then Aoi and Satku
Just like that we were off on a adventure with two cute party members
