Mia's POV

My eyes opened to the sound of a bag being thrown on top of my seat onto the shelves. I inhale deeply and smell something good, it was quite...chocolatey with a bit of mint. My stomach growled and I pat it with my left hand.

"You hungry?"

I look up and my eyes widen when I see the most gorgeous man in front of me, his eyes were such a nice hazel color. Don't get me started on his hair, it looked so soft and the dirty blonde suited his peach tanned skin tone. His nose was slightly pink just like those lips.

"Uh-oh-uh n-no, uh-"

He closed his eyes and scratched the back of his head letting out a small laugh. I think my heart just melted. He pointed to the seat next to me.

"Oh! Yes, please. I apologize for being in your way," Really Mia? Nice one.

I scoot back in the plane seat and cross my legs so he could sit next to me. I cleared my throat just to make things less awkward.

It didn't work.

Brady's POV

"No Mom, I have searched everywhere but I haven't found him. He isn't here!"

"Listen, he comes here every year to visit his niece. Remember the mission?"

"Yeah Brady, remember the Mission?" My wolf Ryan spoke.

I ignore both of them.

I slap my forehead and hang up the phone so I don't get yelled at again. I shove my phone into the side pocket of my backpack and enter the airplane back home to Colorado.

Another year of no luck and my mom was getting very angry at me for my continuous failures. I try to forget everything and search for my seat. After a few minutes, I find it and see a beautiful girl resting her eyes as she slept peacefully.

Wow, the plane hasn't started moving and she was already passed out. I let out a small snicker and open the compartment above her seat, shoving my bag in there quite loudly. She jolted awake causing her stomach to grumble.

"You hungry?" I ask.

She looks up and is at a loss of words, just making incoherent sounds.

The girl lets me sit in my seat, which was right next to her. She clears her throat and I give her a weird look.

Huh, not awkward at all.

"Er, sorry." She whispered.

"It's fine,"

I soon mind my own business and rub my nose which I knew had already become pink. The Utah air had really made my allergies skyrocket all over the place. I could barely smell anything.

My eyes wander back at the girl and I get a good look at her this time. She was quite beautiful. Her eyes were drops of honey full of curiosity and her hair was longer than most women. It was a nice light brown with small streaks of natural red.

"She really is beautiful, but wait for our mate."

"I-is there something on my face?" She asks.

I shake my head and smile a little. I let my hand out to introduce myself.

"Hi, I'm Brady."

She takes it without hesitation and grips my hand in hers.

"My name is Mia."

She gives a grim smile. Mia's hand is soon out of my grasp and she turns her body away from me.
