I had just come home from a long day of school. Not wanting anything but stay in bed.
My dad was in the living room while I was in my room. I made sure to finish all of the homework and once I was done, I made my way to my bathroom.
In front of me was a reflection of someone I didn't want. In nothing but my underwear, I saw the multiple bruises, cuts and scars lingering my body. The bruises going from a dark purple to a light orange.
This isn't who I'm meant to be.
But do I have enough strength to change myself?
I put myself in bed and closed my eyes. The door opened and my father came in. "Goodnight my love, I'm sorry for what I did yesterday, daddy was drunk." That's always his excuse.
I waited until he left the room to wipe off the feeling of his lips on my cheek. I took out my phone and went on an app that I downloaded a few days ago but never used.
