"Thank you for coming again, Byun Soomi, I'm sorry for the change of schedule but I have a wedding. I'll see you next week, now go, Hyunjin is waiting for you." I smile at her as the two of us stand up, walking to the door before I open the it and let her out. "Goodbye, Miss Kim." She bows at me and I mirror her movements.

An hour later, I leave the office after my colleagues and get into my car to do some last minute shopping for the wedding. It's already this week.

Everything went smoothly. The vows were exchanged without any problems, and the reception was perfect. Now, joy fills the air as everyone is chatting waiting for dinner to be served. I sit at my table, talking to some acquaintances about different subjects when San and Wooyoung approach me pulling me away from my seat and dragging me to who knows where saying something about a surprise for me.

After about a minute or two, the three of us arrive at a table buzzing with chatter. The two friends stop and my eyes widen when I hear the name being called. "Seonghwa!" He turns around to look at the caller but his eyes stop on me, staring back at him.

"Please excuse me." He coughs before excusing himself from the table and stands up and walks over to us. He's wearing a nice suit that compliments his figure.

"Hi." I say in a whisper. "hey." He answers back with a small smile. "I'll leave you two together." San says leaving the two of us before we can even say anything. "Soljoo... you look beautiful." He drags with his hand behind his neck. I blush furisouly at his compliment, "You don't look too bad yourself." I answer back awkwardly.

It's painfully uncomfortable.

"How have you been? It's, uhm, been a while." I let out a short laugh and fumble with my hands. "I've been good and you?" He repeats my question. "I've been good too." We both laugh awkwardly.

"Why are they so awkward with each other, this isn't going according to plan." I turn my head and see San and Wooyoung talking to each other while looking at us before turning away when they realise that they've been caught.

"Shall we sit?" Seonghwa asks me pointing to his table which has two free seats, one being his. I nod and we back walk there as his arm hovers above my lower back. I bow at the other guests sitting at the table and they greet me back. Most of them already know me as the groom's best friend while some only meet me now.

"Hello, I'm Kim Soljoo, San's best friend. Nice to meet you." I announce and they greet me back with delight. I then turn away to face Seonghwa who's besides me. He's already looking at me with shining eyes.

"So what have you been doing since the last time we've seen each other? When was it? Ten years ago?" You nod, shocked. "It's already been ten years... wow." I look away for a second before talking again, "I became a child psychiatrist and you?" He nods with wide eyes, impressed "I'm glad you're able to do that." His smile is warm, "I'm the ceo of a dance company, actually." "Oh that's great. I never thought that's what you would end up doing but that's really cool." I answer back.

"Yeah maybe you can come visit, I can give you a free visit." He smiles amusingly to which I reply "I'm a busy woman, I'll see if I have the time." I tilt my head with an amused smile displayed on my lips.

"How are you feeling?" Seonghwa asks, not knowing what else to say. "I'm feeling amazing, really." "I'm glad to hear that." Seonghwa says genuinely before clearing his throat. "Are you seeing someone?"

My eyes leave the decoration on the table and back to Seonghwa. "No, I'm not and you?" He shakes his head. There's a small silence before he mutter something else, "I missed you, Kim Soljoo." I look into his eyes which stare back at me, "I missed you too." He takes my hands in his delicately and gives them a small squeeze.

"I'm sorry for letting you go even after promising that I would never do that, can you forgive me?" "If you give me good reason why, I might consider" I tell him knowing that I already forgave him since the moment I first saw him tonight.

"How about going out for dinner one night? I can free up my schedule just tell me when." Seonghwa rushes his words. "I didn't agree, though." I point out with a raised eyebrow and then notice the way his ears redden, "But I'm also free on saturday evening, if that's better." He adds. "It's perfect." I stand up, smiling at him, ready to go back to my spot but Seonghwa grabs my arm, "Do you still have the same phone number?" I nod at him and he gives me a sheepish smile before letting go of me.

"I'm guessing the little reunion with seonghwa went well." San says with a smile as his hand holds his new wife's. I nod with a big smile. "I'm happy for you."

I'm also happy.

After a countless amounts of dates, Seonghwa and Soljoo finally decided to confirm their relationship and after their marriage, they lived together and had their happily ever after.

Writing this was incredibly fun as well as stressful. I had a lot of trouble writing this and I'm not too satisfied with the ending of the last chapter (not epilogue) but in the end it was another great experience and it feels like another chapter is closed.

This definitely isn't my favourite but it was something that I will remember because it is my second book I finished.

I'm sorry if everything is rushed and if the epilogue was confusing but I still hope you all enjoyed reading this and will enjoy reading my future books and I can assure you that another Ateez ff will come out soon enough.

Clarification: The reason why Soljoo only saw Seonghwa during the dinner is because he was away for a long time and isn't as close to San as before so he didn't have any major roles like best man.
