Your POV

Have you ever been asked "Do you believe in true love?"

Was your answer no?

That's how its always been for me.

I didn't want to love. I didn't need it.

My friends say I'm too sensitive to be dealing with a relationship. Some classmates say I'm too awkward to be in one. Others say I'm not special enough to have someone approach me.

I try to ignore them, though it's difficult, especially if you see them every day.

Which is why I always head to the least popular place in school. The library.

Boring, I know. But I rather have complete silence instead of hearing random people criticize or constantly bother me about my flaws.

I also caught up in a bit of reading. To be specific, (insert genre) books.

I struggle to reach up to a book which is up on a higher shelve. The librarian isn't here, so I have to rely on my own in order to get this book. Dang this school for it's very tall shelves.

I made the risky move to try and jump up, stepping on a shelve below me in order to climb up and reach out for the book again. I was able to grab it but also grabbed some unwanted books down with me and landed harshly on the wooden floor.

I yelp as I so happen to hit a chair that was behind me.

That wasn't so close behind me before...

I rub my head slightly, pain emitting from it.

Sudden footsteps made their way towards me, but too distracted with the pain I didn't pay much attention to it.

That was until a voice called out to me.

"Hey, are you alright?"

I look up, my vision slightly blurred. Someone with... yellow-ish hair...

I attempt to sit up and reply but tumbled over due to dizziness, falling back on my side.

"Woah! Careful there!"

An arm reached out for my wrist, in order to keep me steady.

"I-I'm aaalright..." I muttered as my vision clears.

"Can you stand?" The gentle voice questioned.

"Think so..."

I slowly got up, my head pounding as an after effect. Without so much difficult I was able to stand on my own again.

"Need an ice pack for the bruise?" The gentle voice questioned once more.

"I... think I'll be good," I murmured, steadying myself on the person's arm.

As my vision cleared, I notice a book on the floor, pages faced down.

'So much for trying to get that...'

As I were reaching out for the book of my desire, another hand reached out for it. I look at the owner's hand and met baby blue eyes.

"Oh! S-Sorry..." he spoke in a low tone before retrieving his hand back.

"Uh... that's fine," I replied back.

I grabbed my book from the ground and placed it on the chair, then looked around at the other books that have fallen from the shelf. I sighed as I thought, 'how am I going to fix all these.'

"You can leave those books on the chair, for them to get fixed later"

I look up at the male once again, before shaking my head, "It was my fault for dropping them, though."

"Mother wouldn't mind, it's her job, anyways," he replied.

I took more time to think about it, remaining silent. Then, I hear an actual light bulb beep. 'Wow, aren't I stupid.' Guess I looked that confused.

"Right, right," I spoke.

It was another moment of silence and I awkwardly stood around, holding onto the book that I wanted, now deciding whether or not to put it back.

"Hey, uh, class is going to start soon," the blonde spoke up, cutting off the silence.

I quickly took a glance at the clock hanging above the seating area, which read 11:50.

'Great,' I thought. 'Time to regroup with idiots.'

I nodded at him, before grabbing my school bag.

"Alright," was my only reply as I hung my bag over my shoulder. "Uh, see you around, uh..." I stopped my sentence, realizing I didn't know his name.

"Armin Arlert," he replied while staring down the piles of books.

"Right, see you around, Arlert." I said and quickly sped off to my next class.

3rd POV

Armin watched as the girl quickly walked away and out of the library.

Something within him felt empty, suddenly. It was as if he wanted the girl to stay around.

Wait... what?

Armin shook off the feeling, resuming back to organizing the books quickly before he crossed over to his next class.

He quickly placed everything in its original spot, and was about to head behind the counter to grab his bag when something caught his eye.

Underneath the chair, there was a light blue bookmark. Definitely not his to say the least. He turned over the bookmark and saw a name spread out on the other side in bubble letter font.

Y/N.

'It must have been from that girl,' the blonde thought quickly as he turned back to the doors of the library.

He decides to bring it over to his bag, and keep it for when he finds her again.

Or rather when he finds Y/n again.

There could be a small chance of running into her again, especially since she was a year younger. Their schedules are very different.

But, it's not impossible, right?

She might come back here.

'Yeah right,' a voice said in his mind. 'No one would come to this dessert room. Heck, most people probably forgot what a library is.'

He sighed as he grabbed his bag. The door opens to see a young women with short hair enter. She smiles at Armin and ruffles his hair.

He smiled back at her before walking out to go to class.

'I wish I could talk with her more.'
