- Emalynne's POV -

- APARTMENT, Monday, 3:20 PM -

After a while, I finally arrived home.

I unlock the door, and entered the apartment.

Father is there, sitting on the couch, watching television.

"Ah, welcome home. How's the first day?" He asks, turning to me.

I just knew I had to lie.

"It's good, father." I mutter, smiling, just enough to convince him.

He smiles back and turns back to the television.

I slowly go upstairs to my room, and slowly placed down my things.

I rustled through my bag, and found my sketch pad.

I bring out my textbooks for my home work.

Examining the things I brought out, my eyes were set to the sketch book.

I was still devastated that she destroyed it.

The book that I've found so dear to me.

I pick up the book, and examined each and every page.

The edges of the page were completely torn.

The drawings were still there at least.

But the way she destroyed it, maddened me.

I place my sketch book and my textbooks onto my desk.

I brought out my laptop, and started doing home work.

- 5:00 PM -

After hours of home work, I was tired.

The crazy amount of work given to us is just exhausting.

But it's one way to graduate high school after all.

I decided to bring my cellphone and go outside to the front yard.

Grabbing my cellphone, I head on downstairs and out the door.

Luckily, the landlord provided a front yard and a bench to sit on.

I sat down on the bench and used my phone.

While using my phone, I hear another conversation.

This time, it was our next-door neighbor.

"I keep on hearing something about the garden. What is about it anyway?" A teenager asks.

"I heard somewhere that supernatural beings wander around at night whether humans are absent." A woman replies.

First, I heard them when I went home...

Now, this moment.

This made me curious.

What if there are supernatural beings?

If I can sneak out at night, maybe I can see.

I spend the whole day doing nothing.

I wait patiently until night time arrives.

- 9:00 PM -

When I managed to go upstairs, I changed into some decent clothes.

I put on a sleeveless black turtleneck shirt with some shorts and a pair of sneakers.

Father seems to be asleep by now, so this should be good.

I carefully tiptoe, exiting my way to the door.

Gently opening the door, I exit and started walking towards the garden.

I researched about this while doing home work.

Apparently, it's called "The Sacred Garden".

I don't know why it's called like that.

It's a park, full of plants and flowers, and it has a veranda, with flowers surrounding it.

Just as I heard before, it is said to have supernatural beings.

I continued on walking.

- 9:10 PM -

I arrived, at last.

Luckily, the gate is still open.

I enter slowly, trying not to make any noise.

Approaching one of the benches in the veranda, I sit down, and looked around.

After a while, I didn't see anything.

But I start to notice something.

The flowers start to glow, turning into a bright golden color.

The winds start to blow hard.

What's going on?
