- Kurano's POV -
- THE SACRED GARDEN, Thursday, 4:00 PM -
I stood by my old house, just to hide until night comes.
I can feel the reminiscent time we went to my past.
The day she learned who I really was before this.
The music box I gave her, the treasure I kept dearly to my heart.
I hesitated, but I gave it away.
My feelings weren't stable.
My mind couldn't set things right.
Part of me just wanted to be her friend, while the other wants more than just that.
If my mind told me she was just a friend, I wouldn't give that thing away.
But I did.
It was a way to comfort her.
The things she felt in her own antiquity.
If I was never there, she would've experienced it more.
I wish I was there to see her and fight for her.
I wouldn't care a thing about the publicity it will give us.
But my mind says not to, as I will disappear forever.
Why do complications have to block my own way?
- Emalynne's POV -
- APARTMENT, 4:10 PM -
When we finished looking at the package mother brought home, I got upstairs and into my room.
Since we weren't very wealthy, we have a pretty small but convenient apartment.
Mother will be sleeping in my father's room because he has a bigger bed than mine.
I place down my bag and took out my textbooks, notebooks, and some paper as well.
I put the things onto the desk of my study table, leaving a slight mess.
But I realized that I forgot something.
Oh, the locket.
I have to put something inside the locket.
I can't take pictures with Kurano, since he's pretty aware of things like human technology.
Maybe a drawing will do.
I rush downstairs to find the locket I found earlier.
I grab it and held it tightly.
When I got back upstairs, I place it on gently on the surface, and started doing homework.
- 4:50 PM -
After writing the last bit of homework, I stretched out my hands.
After all, it was a lot of work to do.
Homeworks can be such a pain.
I grab the piece of paper and the locket.
The locker is pretty small, but has an opening to place a picture or anything else.
I can't take a picture with him, since people can look at my cellphone at any time.
So if I can draw something, it would work.
But I have to try and make the drawing small, so it can fit into the locket.
I grabbed one of my pencils, and started until it was time to go.
