Am i really gonna do this?

Chapter 4

The last couple days have felt like torment I know that sounds dramatic and it might be. But..well I'll try to give you an idea of what happened.

Well on the first day......

————————Saturday morning ——————

" Rise and shine." Mrs.Clifford says grumpily through the door

I sit up and stretch my arms from the uncomfortable bed

"Come on we have things to do today." She says annoyed and walks out

"Your list of chores are waiting for you! I expect you downstairs in 5 minutes." She yells into the room

"Yes ma'am" I say tiredly

I hear her heels click on the wood floor as she walks away. I swing my leg to the side of the bed my feet soon touch the cold tile floor. I walk over to the small mirror over the sink to splash some cold water on my face. I pull my hair into a quite messy ponytail and go to the door. still in my pajamas I decide to go to my room.

As soon as I step foot in that room any noise seems to stop. Awkward silence and tension take over the room. I swallow hard and go to my dresser I grab a t shirt and shorts since I know I'll be working today. I give a small smile to Lucy but she declines my smile buy scoffing and rolling her eyes.

I change in the bathroom and head downstairs Mrs.Clifford hands me my list and I start my chores.

Thats about how everyday went for the past week. Get up get dressed do chores go to bed. I was allowed to eat as long as all my chores were done. If I hadn't finished my dinner time then i didn't eat.

I'm finally back in my old room! The one I share with Lucy and Chelsea. Last night I got to sleep in my bed! Lucy and Chelsea are being...distant like they're upset. Maybe I should talk to them!

I get up from my bed and walk over to Chelsea's bed and sit on the right side of the bed.

"Hey!" I say happy but quiet.

Chelsea huffs and turns to face me "WHAT!"
I open my mouth to speak but before any words can come out she says " LOOK OKAY I'M.." she lets out a small huff "I'm sorry okay? I-i didn't know she was gonna do that to you. She made me and Lucy clean the bathroom that's all. I-i" She pauses. Tears start to form in her eyes. "IM SO SORRY!" She lets out a sob.
"No, I'm not I did the right thing!" She says in a changed tone. "WELL ARE YOU GONNA SAY ANYTHING DIANA?" " ya know what forget it!" "LEAVE ME ALONE!" She says then rolls over and screams in her pillow. "Uh-oh um okay." I say and go to the bathroom.

"Well that was odd" I say to myself.

What should I do now? Take a shower...I haven't gotten a chance all week! Seems like a good time now. I think Chelsea needs me to be in a different room then her right now!

I turn the silver handle as far in the red as it'll go so my water can heat up before I get in. A few moments later I pull the white shower curtain back a little. I turn the handle to make it a little colder and get in.
————————-about 40 minutes later————
After my shower I decided to put on clean clothes. I put the ones I was wearing in the brown hamper. I walk over to my dresser at the end of my bed and grab a loose white shirt that says happy in a black font and a pair of blue jean shorts. After I get dressed I fix my hair into a pony tail and walk out the door of the room. As I'm walking downstairs I her Mrs.Clifford yell "ALL GIRLS IN THE DINING ROOM THIS INSTANT!"
Wonder what this is about?

———————-Elton's POV——————————
"Am I really gonna do this?" I say to myself in a whisper
I put my blue send it shirt on and look in the mirror. Can I be a dad? I wanna be but not everything you want in life is for the best. I jump and look to the door as I hear screaming and yelling. Should I bring a kid into this?
I take a deep breath.
All I'm doing today is meeting some kids....that might..be a kid you raise one day. who knows?
I let out a sigh and lean on the bathroom counter. This was a bad idea. I should just forget it. I twist the bathroom doorknob and go to my room circa following close behind. I sit down on the side of my bed. As I'm thinking of why that dream would never work I feel something wet fall on my arm and roll off. I reach my hand up and touch my face I realize I'm crying. Why? I-

Before I finish my thoughts circa interrupts by whimpering. She walks over to me and lies her head on my feet. "Circa." I say in a soothing voice trying to calm her down. It's no help though as she lets another whimper. "What's wrong girl?" I say picking her up. As soon as I do she licks the tears on my face. I let out a laugh and circa hops out of my arms.
"How about a walk?"I say cheery. She sits down and barks.

"No walk?" I say confused. She barks again and move her head a little to the left.
"Should I go to the orphanage?"I say sighing
Circa lets out a big bark and wags her tail and starts going in circles.
"Fine,Fine!" I say laughing "I get the message circa!" I laugh. She barks in response and I throw her a treat from the red treat bag I have on my night stand.

I stand up and take a deep breath.

I'm just gonna go and see and then decide what I wanna do
