Aqualad whirled around. "What did you say."Speedy avoided eye contact. "I said I...I... I lied." He mumbled. Aqualad turned around with a face of sympathy. "I know, but why?" "Because thats what Im afraid of." Speedy said as he stared longingly at the floor. "Telling the truth? Speedy nodded. "Im afraid of the same things you are" Aqualad sat down in the comforter. "Speedy you know you can tell me anything." Speedy looked up reluctantly. He grabbed Aqualad's neck and quickly pulled him in. He kissed him passionately then let go. "I'm gay and in love with my best friend." He then quickly ran out his room and out the tower.
Aqualad's POV
It was so sudden he had just grabbed me and kissed me, told me he was gay and that he loved me. Then he just ran out. I just sat there dumb-founded. I really didn't know how to feel. Not soon after did Bumblebee walk in and shouted at me, asking what I did. She said Speedy had left the tower. I whispered to myself, Im sorry I ruined your birthday Speedy.

Speedy's POV
I ran. I ran and ran and ran. I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't lie anymore, I couldn't hide anymore. I couldn't stay at the tower, I only had one idea of what to do and Im not sure if thats the best choice.
