Scanning From The Sky

SPEEDYS POV

Beastboy had transformed into a pterodactyl. Hoping on his back, we took off into the sky and began scanning the area below. We began our search along the coast. My eyes searched the crystal clear water. It glistened in the sun, accenting the baby blue waves. However, there was no sign of anyone. We searched the perimeter of the city , but came up empty. It would be redundant to search the center of the city, since the other Titans were there and would know if that was the source of the danger. So we ended up deciding to search all nearby islands. As we were island hopping, I couldn't help but stare off into the distance at the enormous wave rolling closer. Could Aqualad really be behind something so powerful? My thoughts were interrupted by Beastboy. "I think I see something!" My eyes followed were his were pointed and I soon saw a faint hint of blue and black betwixt the lush green island, before it seemed to dart off. "We better go check it out." Beastboy spoke. As I nodded in agreement. We swooped down on to the island's golden sand shore. I dismounted and Beastboy transformed back to his human form. "I think we should split up to cover more ground." I suggested. "Sounds good dude, I'll take the West and you take the East." Beastboy instructed. "Ok if we find anything we'll call each other on our communicators." I said as me and Beastboy darted in different directions.
