Cupids Arrow: a Tale of Spaqua

Quality Time

"Hey Al."
"Hmm?"
"You know what I just realized?"
"What Roy?"
"We haven't hung out with the other Titans lately."
"You mean bee and the twins?"
"No no the Titans."
"Hmm, it has been a while."
"We should throw a party!"
"A party for what?"
"Well it's almost thanksgiving, east and the Titans could throw a party together."
"That's a good idea, maybe Cyborg will make his spaghetti with triple meat sauce."
So after some discussing the teen titans and teen titans east decided to have a thanksgiving party at Titans tower. Soon the party began and all the Titans gathered there along with some honorary titans. Kidflash, Jinx, Melvin and the gang, and a bunch of other Titans where all there.
SPEEDYS POV
I was chatting with bee about kidflash and jinx who had told me earlier about there traveling around the world and jinx becoming an honorary titan. That's when I felt Aqualad squeeze my hand. I turned over and smiled, but noticed Garth seemed nervous. "Dude, what's the matter." "Theres so many people... and no one knows about us." "Babe, it's ok they got to know some time." Aqualad looked up at me and nodded lightly and squeezed my hand as we walked to mingle together. I decided it was better to start off with someone we really knew, (besides Raven, robin, and the east team who already knew) so we headed to the kitchen. There we bumped into cyborg who was cooking the turkey. He took one look at our intertwined hands and smiled cheesily. "Bro congratulations!" He then slapped Garth's back, Garth stumbled forward and looked nauseous. "Opps, sorry Al, it's just I never thought you'd be the one to get speedster to settle down." Aqualad looked down at his toes and blushed. Before I could get out a word of protest, Beast boy walked in. Cyborg called him over and beast boy highfived me and gave me an ecstatic "Dude". That's when Garth looked up "Garfield, why aren't you surprised or find it strange two boys liking each other." "Dude, being gay isn't strange, I'm Beast Boy, I'm basically an animal and animals in the wild "hang out" with the same gender all the time." Cyborg nodded in agreement "Wait, so, are you saying your gay, I mean your basically an animal andthey do it all the time right?" Beast boy gave cy an angry look and cy just nudged him with his elbow while laughing hysterically. Aqualad smiled and looked up at me, his eyes sparkled with absolute joy. I guess support from his 2 best friends was all he really needed.
We decided to go sit by the water outside the tower before the food was ready. We sat down in the sand, Aqualad placed his head in-between my neck and held my hand between our laps. Aqualad sighed happily, it was obvious this is were he wanted to be, whether it be near the ocean or me. Either way it made Al all the more adorable. That's when a glimmer caught my eye. "Hey Garth, check out that seashell." Well let me tell you Aqualad practically leaped to get it. After he retrieved it, he returned to his position next to me. "Wow a Quahog!" "A whosit whatsit now?" Aqualad rolled his eyes "It's like a purple clam shell." I looked at Aqualad gently turning the delicate shell and couldn't help but smile. "It matches your eyes."
Aqualad blushed. "You know I think it would look better as a necklace." And with that the shell Aqualad held, molded into the shape of a heart. "Did you do that Al?!?" "I suppose I did. Things like this started since I joined the team. It happens when I'm very emotional, but it only happens to stuff connected with the ocean. Like if I was really angry and I had a glass of water in my hand, the water would start boiling. I guess I was just really happy that you love me so sincerely, that the shell turned into a heart." Aqualad finished with a smile. Then I got an idea. "One second." I grabbed one of my spare arrow strings and poked in two holes and looped it through the shell. Then I sat up and tied the necklace around Aqualad's neck. "This is in case something ever happens, if your ever sad or forget how much I love you, you can remember this. It was made by my love for you and it's a symbol of my love for you." Aqualad's head was bent down looking at the violet shell, his dark locks covering his face. As I waited for a reply I saw a glistening tear fall onto the porcelain trinket. "D-do you like it?" Is all I could muster nervously. Aqualad spun around sharply, his face streamed with tears and a wide smile on his face. "I LOVE IT!" He grabbed the back of my head with his hands and yanked my head forward, so that he could touch my lips with his. At first it was a quick kiss. But soon my hands traveled down Garth's back and wrapped loosely around his waist. His hands still on the back of my head, but now ran his hands through my hair. I peaked out one of my eyes, already suspecting what I saw. Most of the titans lined up at the windows watching, except for Raven who seemed to be reading to Melvin and the kids. I winked at them slyly and saw Robin give me a thumbs up, I also saw Cyborg frowning and handing Beastboy some cash. By this time Garth had noticed and turned around, looking at the sand shyly. He was blushing, but smiling mischeviously. He gave me a soft kiss on the cheek and grabbed my hand to head inside.

ILL CONTINUE THIS OVER THANKSGIVING AND CONTINUE THEIR THANKS GIVING PARTY, AND PS SORRY IF ANYONE IS UPSET DUE TO THE FACT THEY DONT CELIBRATE THANKSGIVING, JUST THOUGT SOME MORE LIGHT-HEARTED CHAPTERS WHERE IN ORDER
