"thank you both for dropping me off." jimin smiled as he got out of yoongi's car. 

"it's the least we could do," hoseok responded from the half rolled down passenger seat window. 

jimin nodded happily. "well, I'll see you guys later tonight!" he waved goodbye to the two males before skipping into the familiar café. 

"jiminie!! you're finally here!" his best friend, taehyung cheered as the older boy entered the eatery. 

"good morning, taehyung." jimin grinned after he joined him behind the front counter. 

taehyung fumbled around with the buttons on the cash resistor. "did you get home safely last night?" he interrogated, bringing his hand up to rest on jimin's forehead. "you didn't get sick in the rain, did you??" 

"well.." jimin pondered, "i didn't exactly go home." 

"why not?" taehyung looked confused. "i spent the night at yoongi's house," jimin shrugged.

"really? yoongi?" the younger beseeched. "isn't that the guy you told me you liked a while ago?"

"yeah, it is." jimin admitted. "it's just a crush though, it's nothing serious."

"does he like you back?" taehyung inquired, turning around to wave at the new customer that just walked in. "how am I supposed to know that??" jimin groaned quietly in response.

"hello, what can I get for you?" taehyung grinned as the customer approached the counter.

jimin stormed to the back of the shop, where he grabbed one of the freshly washed aprons off the clothing hooks and put it on himself.

"oh, hey namjoon." jimin beamed as one of his other co-workers walked into the room. "hey, jimin." he smiled back.

"yoongi told me you slept over at his house last night-" namjoon, who was yoongi's best friend, said suddenly. "y'know you can just ask me for a ride home if you need one, right?" he chuckled.

jimin's face flushed in embarrassment. "i didn't plan on crashing over there," he started, his fingers messing around with his shirt as he always does when he's nervous. "hoseok just kinda invited me to stay."

"i get it." namjoon smiled, showing off his dimples. "here," he said, scribbling something on a piece of paper and slipping it into jimin's hand, "if you ever need me for anything, that's my number." he gave a thumbs up to the younger male before exiting the room.
