"jimin! you haven't stopped by in a while," hoseok beamed as he opened the front door to spot the small blond-haired boy standing there on the porch, nervously fiddling with his own fingers.
"actually, i-i came here to tell you something..." jimin stuttered, catching the attention of yoongi, who was cuddled up on the couch.
"hm? what is it?" hoseok interrogated, gesturing the younger inside the house before shutting the door behind him. yoongi shuffling off the couch to join the two.
"well... i've been thinking.." jimin started, "there's something I should have told you two a long time ago.." he admitted, taking a deep breath.
"i-i like you both. i've liked you both for a really long time now. i just haven't had the balls to tell you," he sighed, keeping his head held down. "i know it's really weird... like with you two being together and everything. it's just a stupid crush of mine... i understand if you never want to see me again-"
"called it." yoongi grinned.
"wha-"
"so does this mean we're dating now?" yoongi interrupted.
"pardon me?!" jimin squeaked, his gaze shooting up to meet yoongi's.
"does this mean we're dating?" the eldest repeated.
"dating..?"
"yeah. me, you, hoseok. dating." yoongi confirmed, drawing out his words as if jimin didn't even understand the language he was speaking.
"sounds good to me," hoseok shrugged, "what do you say, jimin?"
"you guys aren't joking around with me, right...?" jimin frowned.
"we wouldn't do that," hoseok reassured.
"so?" yoongi asked, cocking his head to the side. "okay... dating. sounds nice." the blond beamed.
"how about a date then, jiminie? y'know, to celebrate." hoseok proposed. "that sounds really fun!" jimin declared, hopping up and down happily.
"how about we go out for ice cream? and go hang out at the park afterward?" hoseok asked, grinning at the energetic boy before him.
"mhm! mhm!" The youngest nodded.
"alright, yoongi's paying," hoseok announced, quicking rushing into the shared bedroom before yoongi had a chance to argue.
yoongi huffed, watching his boyfriend disappear into the room. "i need to go get ready too, you can just wait out here for me and hobi," he mumbled, kissing jimin on the cheek before hurrying after hoseok.
jimin stood there, eyes wide, flustered at the unexpected kiss. flustered at the whole situation, really.

"you ready to go now, jiminie?" hoseok inquired as he entered back into the living room, yoongi following close behind him.
jimin nodded, prancing out the door to hoseok's car with the two.
