Fear struck me like a fatal blow, everyone was confused as to why the fighting suddenly stopped until my capture uncloaked themselves. Their armour was a pale blue which made me give a hug of annoyance, of course this prick would try to steal the credit of Tex's victory. I made slight hand signals behind my back telling everyone not to attack, Agent Carolina gave a chuckle and turned me to face the others.

[Valora what do I do!?]

Stay calm we just need a distraction, these guys don't know I have an AI yet so when I say go activate my short distance teleportation alright?

[that's a very risky ability but I will give it a shot, no guarantee it will work exactly to your plans]

That's fine I just need to get out of this death grip.

The knife pressing harder to my throat made me snap back to the problem at hand, John was trying to persuade them not to take me.

"Listen she hasn't blurted a thing about you and probably never will, let her go and you can leave in peace," he offered his voice starting to shake with fear, this caused a laugh from Carolina.

"You will let me leave in peace either way or I kill this traitorous brat and just drag her body back to base," Carolina chuckled, I took a deep breath before I did anything stupid.

Now.

Suddenly I was transported to John's side pain shooting through my body, this was too much power for Scarlett to handle without the proper training and tweaking. I felt her glitch and scream which made me feel bad. John held me close his gun aimed at the aqua Freelancer, she nodded her head in surprise.

"Such talent put to waste, well guess it's time to do this the hard way," she sighed, furious and pushed John away slightly and stood facing her.

"You will leave, inform the other Freelancers they have one chance of freedom, or we will and I repeat we WILL kill every last one of you," I snarled taking everyone by surprise, I was sick of being thrown around and it was time to choose my side. Tex seemed amused by this while Carolina looked rather annoyed, grabbing my pistol I shot her legs out from under her making her scream in pain and surprise.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" I screeched, Tex vanished while Carolina stumbled away with sore legs. Feeling myself calm down a large pain shot through my stomach like a bullet on a bad day, I slouched forward holding onto John for support. He helped m back to the Med Bay so they could see what was wrong, upon getting there he lifted me up onto one of the beds where I lay curled in a painful ball. I groaned in agony as the pain got worse, medics raced in and began to strip me of my armour. I had a large black bruise on my chest and three cracked ribs all shattered to pieces, I also had a small bump in my stomach I had never noticed before. Then it hit me like a truck, I rolled onto my back unable to speak due to the pain and pointed at my stomach. The medics got the hint and began to run scans, surely enough there forming inside of me was a small life form no large then a newborn kitten. Luckily thanks to my suit absorbing the hit it was still alive but it needed help bad, the medics began to pump a strange liquid into my shoulder making me drowsy. I looked to a shocked John before my eyes began to close, last thing I saw was them ushering him away.

I awoke still laying on the Med Bay bed but this time I had stitches across my stomach, a strange feeling told me the little life form was still there. John was asleep by my side his hand just above my stomach as he held me close, I blushed and I sluggishly began to move about to regain the feeling in my limbs. With the slightest movement he awoke, seeing I was fine he smiled and pulled me into a soft hug.

"What did the medics do?" I questioned softly prodding my stitches, John pulled my hand away so I didn't injure myself with my curiosity.

"Well they had to do a surgery on your stomach to help the little one due to its cord being almost squished from the impact Tex made, and they also had to replace your broken ribs with more sturdy let's say metal ones," John explained rubbing the back of his neck, I knew he never meant for this to happen but I couldn't be mad at him since he was going to be the father of the future child.

"Don't feel bad for anything John, after all my armour does need to be fixed and you are going to be the father of my..... our child," I soothed, his face brightened up as he gave me a soft kiss.

"No more missions until you have this child alright?" John teasingly grumbled, I rolled my arms and pretended to be offended.

"I'm not fat just yet," I laughed, he laughed along with me. We joked around some more before Doctor Halsey walked in her faced filled with curiosity, no records have ever been made of Spartans being able to have children due to the transformation they had to undergo as small children themselves.

"Most interesting, the first fertile spartans ever recorded, I'm going to keep an eye on you for John when he goes out on missions from now on so I can study if anything is different from normal pregnancy's," Doctor Halsey half explained to herself as she looked me over, John chuckled and our attention turned to Arbiter as he walked in.

"Congratulations, we can always use more numbers in ours armies to keep the peace, this child of yours is going to be blessed by the gods themselves," he congratulated dipping his head in respect, it would be months before the child was even born but I knew Arbiter was right. This child would be special, the first of its generation in all honesty. With a smile I cuddled into John's arms, slowly I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
