I stumbled through the forest confused, I couldn't remember anything except what things were called but I couldn't even remember my own name. I soon stumbled into a clearing filled with what I vaguely knew as covenant, they didn't shoot at me only stared as I collapsed exhaustion taking over me.

****************************

I awoke in a medical bed, I sat up holding my head. A covenant who wore white armour stood next to me looking me over, I jumped up slashing at him with my combat knife they had foolishly not taken away from me. I was given a few curious glances at my outburst, I noticed I still had my armour on which I was thankful for as I didn't trust these covenant. My attention snapped to the entrance to the tent as another spartan walked in, his armour was a dark green and his visor was a rich gold.
"Thank you shipmaster we will speak with her now," he thanked as the large covenant in white Sanghelios armour left the tent with a grunt, the spartan walked over to me as another who wore light blue armour walked in.
"Chief what are you doing?" She questioned cautiously, he didn't turn to face her his gaze fixed on me.
"Getting answers, now what is your name?" He questioned keeping his distance, I flipped the knife in my hand always ready incase this was a trap.
"I don't know, I don't remember anything apart from these scum bags being what I was in a war with, why do you speak to them like they are your friends, they are our enemies!" I raised my voice slightly, he shook his head and chuckled.
"Not these ones, we befriended most of them though some still choose to cause problems every now and again, do you remember where you come from? What happened to you? Anything at all that could help us locate your squad or commander?" He questioned taking a step closer, I saw past his advances and quickly turned trying to escape whatever false game they had going on with my head. I was just about to get into the treeline when I was tackled to the ground by something far heavier and skilled at fighting then me, I struggled as I was pinned but soon saw there was no way of me getting out of this.
"Get off me you traitorous scum!" I hissed through my teeth, I only got a quiet angry stare in return.
"Easy we aren't traitors we work for the UNSC and Infinity, we are here to help you, keep going and I won't be afraid to feed you to the elites, got it!" He snapped, I gulped and lay there as he helped me up. He led me back towards the medical tent and I sat down on one of the beds, I heard the one they called Chief sigh.
"How did you get spartan armour?" He questioned his voice growing agitated, I gave an angry huff.
"How many times do I have to say I don't remember anything, all I remember is walking through the forest and stumbling upon this place, I then woke up and here we are," I grumbled, both Chief and the female spartan looked at each other and she shrugged as if they were silently talking to each other. I jumped when he pulled out a chip from the back of his helmet and a little blue AI appeared, she seemed to be studying me.
"She's not lying Chief her memory unit is shattered, I can try to fix it but that requires me to actually be inside her head," the AI explained looking closer at me, I narrowed my eyes as I was not about to let some random AI get inside my head.
"Well we can always let Doctor Halsey try to identify her since she knows all the Spartans that were raised in the program," the blue female spartan suggested, I was ready to grab my knife again if they dared come any closer.
"Good thinking Kelly, go fetch her for me while I make sure this one doesn't get into any trouble," Chief grumbled, the female spartan who I now knew as Kelly left the tent with a sigh. We stood in silence our gazes never shifting, suddenly the entrance to the tent opened and I threw my knife towards whoever dared enter. The female spartan deflected the knife glaring at me through her helmet, the ageing lady who I assumed was Doctor Halsey looked towards me shocked. The covenant began to move towards me and I backed up ready to fight if needed, Chief held his hand up for them to stop so they backed away cautiously.
"Well that was a friendly welcome," Doctor Halsey joked looking at me with weary eyes, I began to feel surrounded which only made my fight instincts kick in more.
"I would be careful with this one Halsey, she almost stabbed the shipmaster AND almost hit you in the head with a combat knife," Kelly explained her arms crossed, Halsey gave a nervous sigh.
"Well her armour looks too advanced to be ours, she doesn't have an AI either, maybe she is one of the freelancers or one of the rouges that never stay in one place for too long, what I want to know is why is her armour so advanced when she looks like she's never seen a proper war in her life," Came a curious comment, pain shot through my head when Chiefs AI re appeared making me fall to my knees holding my head. I took my helmet off and threw it trying to get rid of the blasting noise that rang in my ears, everyone was shocked as I sat there screaming in pain.
"Make it stop! Make it stop!" I screeched, suddenly I was hit in the head by the butt of a gun and everything went black.
