The hole continues to grow
the walls of my heart are closing in
I can feel it every time I feel your glance
It still hurts
The burning in my heart
The fire that is still ablaze for you
And even though I still feel these things
I must abhor you
To keep these feelings away
Is but another log on the fire
But even as the log burns away
The fire continues to roar
