Day two
I still haven't heard from you.
I'm hoping this will change your mind
But maybe our paths were never meant to entwine.
This was supposed to last more than a week
I wanted to lay one more kiss on your cheek.
So as I lay here in this bed
With thoughts that I'd be better off dead.
I look to my phone and hope for your text
Just know you've left me perplexed.
You should pick up your phone
Instead of leaving me all alone
