Introduction

This is a story about a teenage girl named Centauri Layah Murphy. Centauri is from London, United Kingdom. She also lives by herself because she wants to be independent. She is currently in a really toxic relationship with her boyfriend Chris Brown who lives with her. He makes fun of her accent and the things she says and how she says them, he belittles her song righting, he cheats on her, hits her, and tells her that he's tired of looking at her because she isn't "beautiful" anymore. Centauri fells like there is still a part of Chris that loves her and she is willing to get hurt to find it because she believes that relationships should last. It's not until she meets the football captain Bryson Tiller at her school that she realizes that she's worth so much more then Chris and what he can offer and most importantly that she is right that relationships should last but with the right person. Even though Centauri is at her lowest point and very shy she's willing to learn some things from Bryson like what it's like to really love and be loved. Centauri's goal is to try to fix her relationship before her 17th birthday 1 month from now. Will she be fixing her relationship with Chris or busy starting a new one with Bryson?
