Chapter 4

"I missed you guys so much I haven't seen you in forever literally" Centauri says as she whips her tears  "Baby how did you even find them?"  She asks Bryson

"Well let's just say the internet isn't so secretive" he says smiling

"Thank you"  Centauri says as she hugs Bryson

"Awwwww " her mom says

"You have a beautiful home Mrs. Murphy" Bryson says

"Oh please don't be silly call me Linda and this is my husband Larry" Linda says

"Pleasure to meet you Bryson" Larry says

"Well you two go upstairs and I'm going to make dinner" Linda says

"Do you need me to get anything?" Bryson asks

"Ummm we need some milk do you mind getting that for me?" Linda asks

"Yea sure I'll be back baby" Bryson says

"You sure you don't want me to come?" Centauri asks

"Baby I'm just going to the store" Bryson says with a giggle

"No I'll go you've been doing everything let me go okay?" Centauri insists

"You sure?" Bryson asks

"Yes now go take a nap or something I'll be back" Centauri says as she kisses him

"Alright" Bryson says

Centauri gets her purse and takes out the keys. She gets in the car and starts it. Centauri then starts to drive to the store. She arrives to Walmart. When she gets there she goes to the milk isle.

"Centauri" a male figure says

"Yes-" Centauri stops and her heart drops as she learns it's Chris "W- What are you doing here?" She asks

"Well its a grocery store doesn't everyone come here?" Chris asks

"Were you following me?" Centauri asks worriedly

"No that would be creepy. Your location was on" Chris says with a grin

"Okay well what do you want?" Centauri asks curiously

"I want you to come home" Chris says as he gets closer

"For what Chris so you can make me your maid again?" Centauri asks

"Girl you know I love you" Chris says as he try's to hug her

"Stop!" Centauri says as she slaps him

"Oh so you got balls now?" Chris says as he touches his face

"Don't you touch me!" She says in a whisper "Now you listen to me....Bryson is a good man he is better then what you could ever give me! He loves me Chris something you never learned how to do. Now I'm gonna go and you stay the hell away from me and Bryson and tell whoever that is to stop texting his phone and I know you have something to do with it because you're the only one who would do something like that" Centauri says angrily

"You have a good day" Chris says with a smirk

"Oh I will" Centauri says as she walks away

"Oh yea and Centauri...watch out for Bryson. Something tells me he's not safe." Chris says

"Oh he's just fine he's got me" She says as she keeps walking

Centauri gets to the register

"$2.50 " the cashier says

"Here you go " Centauri says as he takes out the money

"Thank you for shopping at Walmart you have good day beautiful" the cashier says

"You too" Centauri says forcing a smile

Centauri walks out the store and gets in the car. She puts her purse and the milk in the passenger seat and calls Bryson. Bryson didn't answer the phone

"He's probably sleeping" Centauri says

Centauri then beings to drive to her parents house. She gets there within five minutes. She gets out the car and locks the door with all her belongings in her hand. She then opens the door to a house filled with good smelling food.

"Mummy I got the milk" Centauri says entering the house

"Okay baby just sit in on the counter" Linda says as she continues cooking

"Ok hey mum do you know where Bryson is?" Centauri asks

"Oh I think he's sleeping honey go up and check" Linda says

"Okay" Centauri says as she goes up the stairs and finds Bryson in fact sleeping in her old room

"Baby?" Centauri says as she takes off her shoes and gets in bed with him

"Hmm?" Bryson says tiredly

"I got to tell you something but you got to stay calm okay?" Centauri says hugging his waste

"What is it baby?" He says with his eyes closed

"Chris talked to me at the store" Centauri says quietly

"He what?!" Bryson says now awake

"Baby it's okay rea-" Centauri starts to say

"What did he say to you?" Bryson says with curiosity

"Bab-" Centauri starts to say

"Centauri!"  Bryson says worriedly

Centauri sighs "He said that he doesn't think you're safe and to watch you back"

"How did he even know you were at the store? Was he following you?" Bryson asks

"My location was on" Centauri says as if it's her fault

"Baby you gotta be more careful look it wasn't your fault okay I'm fine we're gonna be fine" Bryson says trying to hold her

"What if it's not gonna be okay Bryson?" Centauri says as she pushes away from him

"It will be" Bryson says

"You don't know that" Centauri says with fear

"Do you trust me?" Bryson says

"Baby it's not about me trusting you it's about us being safe the facts what we already know" Centauri says

"Okay" Bryson says

"Bryson I'm pregnant" Centauri says looking down

"What? Are you serious?" Bryson says

"I'm pregnant and I want the baby to be safe" Centauri says

"How are you pregnant we haven't done anything yet?" Bryson asks

Centauri doesn't say anything

"Is that- is the baby Chris's ?" Bryson says shocked

"I think so" Centauri says with her head down

"Are you serious right now Cen?" Bryson says a little upset

"Yes what's the problem you said you wanted a baby" Centauri says hurt

"Yes but by me that's not my baby" Bryson says as he stands up

"Well I'm keeping the baby Bryson"

"What? Why?" Bryson says

"Because it's my baby a baby who didn't ask to come here. I thought you'd react better to this Bryson" Centauri says as she stands up

"That's not my kid!!!!" Bryson yells

"Um sorry to interrupt but dinners ready" Linda says as she leaves

"You're right....it's not your kid but it's mine and you can leave if you don't want to take care of the baby we don't need you" Centauri says as she walks out

"Wait Centauri that's not what I meant" Bryson says as he grabs her arm

"No you said exactly what you meant" Centauri says as she snatched her arm away and continues down the stairs

"Shit" Bryson says with his hands over his face sitting on the bed
