I walked through the Academy's hallways and made my way to the door when a man with short black hair and a green uniform- the Leaf Village uniform- asked me to talk with him. He explained to me when and where I was going to be meeting my new Sensei and my teammates, Sasuke and Sakura. What a day it's going to be tomorrow... I feel exited yet very nervous. Seven AM sharp on the Leaf Village Bridge. I ran the rest of the way home, wanting to eat some ramen as a self- celebration. I grabbed ramen in a cup and smiled at it, I took it and started to slowly eat it at my lonely small table.

All I could hear was the chewing of ramen inside of my own mouth. My smile slowly started to fade, I wish I had somebody to eat with right now... An idea suddenly popped into my head that made me smile like a freak. Choji and Shikamaru! I quickly went to throw my half-eaten cup of ramen in the trash but missed, accidentally tossing it to the floor. Who cares, I'll clean it later. If I feel like it.. I grabbed my shoes and swiftly slipped them on, running out the door of my apartment slamming the door shut behind me. I rushed over to Shikamarus house and knocked on the door. A few minutes later I heard a faint "one minute!" From the other side of the door.

A few more minutes later and the door unlocked making a click. The door opened and it revealed an older woman, she resembled Shikamaru, she had silky soft brown hair tied up in a ponytail and golden brown eyes. She was wearing a simple yet beautiful red dress planted with green details and designs on the bottoms. "Hello? Is Shikamaru here!" I asked with a smile. "Shikamaru! Your girlfriends here!" I groaned at what the older woman referred to me as. "What?" I could almost hear his ignorance from the outside of the door. "What did you just say?" He demanded, walking from the hallway of his house to the door, glaring at me.

"Her? Please, she's not my girlfriend."
"Shikamaru! Don't be so rude to such a kind lady!" She demanded, it was sort of scary of how quick this woman changed her personality. I guess not everyone hates me... Maybe it's just me thinking too much based on when I was younger... Unless she just didn't know who I was... "Well trust me Shika, your no cup of tea either." I whisper to him, making sure only he can hear just in case the mother would get angry with me to. "Shika?" She alighed out with a smile. I guess she did hear me whispering...

Man this woman had some kind of supernatural listening powers. "My oh my, nicknames already hm? Well okay, I'll leave you two alone for a few minutes.~" She said as she looked at me. "And Shikamaru. Don't you hurt this cute little lady's feeling or your gonna get it!"

"Thankyou Mrs. Nada."

"Please. Yoshino. And thankyou, your finally getting my boy out of his shell." She said, offering me a warm smile of which I returned. And with that she walked off back through the hallway. "What a drag. What do you want?" He groaned, rolling his eyes. "I just wanted to ask If you wanted to go celebrate, you know on becoming ninja." He groaned some more then stopped and stayed silent for a minute. "Well I'm supposed to be celebrating with my parents..."

"Oh..Oka-"

"But that's a drag as well so I rather celebrate with you, your annoying and all but my mom is more annoying then any woman I've come across, I seriously don't know why my dad married her." Uh...? How does one thoug respond to that? "O-kay?.." I asked. "Does that mean you'll celebrate with me?.." Honestly I'm not sure how I even know what he talks about half the time. "Hurry up," And with that he placed his shoes on his feet and walked passed me out the door. I stood there alone for a few seconds until I realised that was a yes! I quickly ran ahead and matched my speed of walk with his

"Where do you want to go?" I knew Shikamaru didn't like ramen anymore since I made him but me so much of it before so that was probably a no. "Uh... Oh, I suppose there's that new restaurant that Choji went to this morning, let's go get him and we can all go together."

"Okie!" I said loudly with a smile. We walked- well Shika walked while I insisted to skip around- anyways- we slowly walked to Choji's house and knocked on the door, waiting for a reply.
