"Y-you monster! My children!"

"I-I'm sorry!" I sobbed. "When they dont want you to play with them dont play with them! You monster!" She screamed in my face, pulling my long blonde hair. "Freak!" Others called out, throwing garbage at me. "Your disgusting! Die demon!"

"I-I didn't want to cause any harm... I just wanted to!-" My voice was scratchy and my legs were weak from standing. "Shut up orphan, you disgust me! Go away and never, and I mean never speak to my daughter again! Or it won't be her trying to attack you!" The man yelled, while pulling my short blonde hair.

"Quiet it down over there!" Someone hollered. I instantly awoke screaming, tears streaming down my eyes. Not again! Not again! Not again! That was six years ago Naruko!  I let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing my temples. They ached. I continued to cry silently, until I hopped out of bed and comforted myself while hugging myself. "Its alright Naruko. At least you didn't see... Him."

I almost always had nightmares, that was just me. But once in a while, when all was quiet and dark I had no dreams, I was inside my mind. It was dark and damp, the demon. My demon would talk to me, but sometimes he would be gone.

Sometimes I would appear in front of a tall frightening man with black hair and pale white skin. He hissed like a snake and told me many things. "Your a demon. Nothing but a demon. If you come with me I'll make you useful, we can overtake the world. What do you say little girl?" He would ask me these questions. If I wanted to kill everyone who disrespected me, he was creepy and often liked to play with my hair.

Of course I always rejected him everytime he wanted me to join his... Group. Sometimes he would tell me the story of my parents and how they died before everyone's eyes. I would cover my ears. They felt as if they were on the verge of bleeding, but everytime I tried to muffle out the sound it somehow got louder.

I snapped out of my deep thoughts and realised it was 7:28. Late! Today was the test! If I missed it I would have to retake a year at the academy to become a ninja! I quickly grabbed my blue backpack, then threw on my orange jumpsuit and black shoes then rushed to the academy. "Naruko? Naruko, are you here?"

"I'm here Iruka Sensei! Don't count me as late!" I gasp out, slamming the classroom door open. "You just made it Naruko, now go take you seat." I quickly ran to take my seat, remembering it was by Sasuke. I brought my books from my blue bag and tried to focus on the teacher taking attendance. Everybody in class was present.

I tried not to glance over to Sasuke while the teacher started talking about the exam to graduate from the academy, for some reason I just couldn't focus at all. "Okay kids, I'll give you ten minutes to warm up and prepare yourselves for the test. I'll leave the classroom for you to do this, remember: don't go out if control, just practice."

All the kids agreed with Iruka Senseis wishes and he left the room. I stayed in my seat and just waited, I guess I looked bored or something because Choji came up to me. "Hey Naruko!" He said with a joyful smile. "Oh, hi Choji..." I say, dead as ever with my head on my desk. "What's up with you?"

"What do you mean?" I ask, looking up at him, figiting with my pencil. "I mean you look bored or upset, is everything okay?"

"Yeah everythings fine," I say. "Just nervous for the test I guess."

"Ah, it's alright. Everyone's nervous, but it's alright there's nothing to fear. How about after as a congratulations for passing the test and becoming a ninja, we go eat some ramen?" That idea was actually pretty awesome, it would help me forget about the fangirls trying to kill me, it could also get my kind off the dreams...

"Sure Choji! That sounds awesome!" I smiled happily. "Tis' a plan m'lady." He joked, sometimes we joked around that we were rich people from the old days. "Oh shut it, you guys sound like an old married couple." Shikamaru announced as he walked up to my desk as well, his hands in his pockets and a bored look on his face.

"Hey! No we don't!" I argued, I was so close to punching him. "Tsk, girls get mad so easily." He scoffs out, rolling his eyes. He was so disrespectful. "So, how do you think you'll do on the exam, Shikamaru?" I asked him, hoping he was as nervous as I was. "Eh..To be honest I think I'll do fine, it's such a drag that we have to do it in the first place when we already learned all of it."

"True." Choji agrees. "Hopefully we get on the same team.." Choji announced. "You mean you hope you and Naruko get on the same team." Shikamaru joked. "N-no! Why would y-you think that, it's not like I care!" Choji choked out. I just laughed. These two were- aside from me- the weirdest in the class.

"N-naruko-sama.." I heard a calm quiet voice, then I turned around to meet glances with Hinata. "Huh? Oh, hi Hinata!" Hinata was one of the girls I respected most in the class, she was part of the very few that didnt adore and stalk Sasuke on the daily. "H-hi Naruko-sama... I wanted to wish you luck on the exam..." she stuttered out, rubbing her two index fingers together.

"Oh, thankyou Hinata, same to you!" I cheer out, she really was one of the nicest girls I knew. "I really hope I can pass so I can graduate with you Naruko..." She says queitly with her head down. "I'm sure you will! Don't hope, know. I know you will graduate, your one of the most talented in the class."

"I-I am?...Arigato Naruko! That means much to me!" I just nodded my head and smiled as she returned it, looking a bit more confident for the test. "Okay, kids! I'll call up names to do the exam in front of the whole class." Iruka Sensei announces as he walks back into the room with a paper in his hand and a small smile plastered on his face.

I can do this.
