~next day~ Sunday morning •Erik• I was asleep until I feel something jumps on me, I groan as I woke up I look at who it was and it amara, I smiled as she crawled to my chest and laid there, I rubbed her back "good morning princess," I said "morning baba, momma cooking, she wanted me to wake you" she says I look to my side to see adiyah not there. "Oh she did, what she making?" I asked "eggs and grits," she answered, I lean up and I kissed her forehead. I put her down as I get up and stretched, I walk into the bathroom as I begin brushing my teeth. "Sissy is still sick," amara says I spit as I wipe my mouth and turn to her "yea, ma she's has fever that's why you can't go in the room because we don't want you catching it as well," she frowns as I squat down and kiss her cheek "it's alright babygirl, she gonna get better," I said, she nods and I go in the room and put my sweatpants on. I walk in the hallway as I go and check on isla "hey princess, you feeling better?" I asked "yes, I'm not coughing, I'm sleepy," she says "did momma feed you and give you you're medicine?" I asked she nods, I crack the door and I pick up amara "let's go get some breakfast," he says I walk downstairs as I can smell eggs and bacon. "I smell bacon," I said she chuckles as she turns with two plate and place them down on the island table.
I go around and kiss her as I look at the food "food smells good wifey," I sit on the island chair and I put amara in my lap "thank you hubby, we need to talk about the derek issue," I nodded in agreement as I eat some of the grits and feed some to amara. "Sure do, this time for now on I'm staying with you and the kids, imma make sure tommy and cj is with us," I said she nods "we haven't yet pressed charges for what he did to you," she goes around and sits next to me, "yeah, we need to do that today, but other than that what you wanna do today?" I asked she eats some of the food "I don't know, isla still in her fever state but she's getting better, and I don't want her to stay home," I nodded "you can just stay home and I can go and do the charges," I suggested she nods.
I feed amara, as she plays with my necklace with my dads ring. "Ay, don't break my chain amara," I said she pouts "don't start that pouting," I said as she stops I get up an put her down, as I wash me and Adiyahs plate, I dry them and put it up. I go upstairs and put some clothes on.

I put my cologne on and I fix my dreads and I grab my phone as wallet, I walk down the hallway and go downstairs, I grab my keys I go and kiss Adiyah "Alright baby, I'm leaving," I said "Alright, be safe, love you," I smirk "love you more," I give her another kiss and I bent down and give amara a kiss and I go to the door as I hear running behind me and feel something grab my leg, I turn and look down at amara who is hugging my leg "I love you too baby, baba gotta run errands," I said she whined "I gotta go baby," I said adiyah chuckles "she don't want daddy to leave," I smirk as I detach her and give her to adiyah, she starts crying.
I look at her as she reaches for me, I grab her "come on amara, daddy will be back soon," I said she still cries, I huff "you wanna come?" She instantly smiles and I smacked my lips as she just wanted to go "really, right when I ask you instantly stop and smile," Adiyah laughs "Alright mama, come on let's put you some clothes on," she giggles as I go upstairs in their room "you wanna math with baba or rock your own style?" I asked "match," I pile her nose "my girl," she smiles, I put her in the same outfit I have on.
