I go downstairs and fix amara some leftovers we had earlier, as she hugs on my leg as I look down at her "I know princess, let me warm your food," I said as I put her food in the microwave. I pick her up and put her I her chair, the food finished and I take it out. It warms not hot so it was good for her to eat, I give it to her and I give her a her princess fork. She eats as I go to the stairs "ay, baby, whose goona watch the kids?" I yelled "you wanna asked t'challa, we can take them to him," she insisted "aight," I said as I call t'challa. "Hey erik," He said "wassup T, do you mind watching the girls for a while?" I asked "of course," he said "thanks, I'll bring them in a few." I said as I hung up. She comes downstairs and I smile "mm, look at you lookin like a whole meal, can't wait to have my dessert," I smirked she chuckled "whatever, what did he say?" She asked "he yeah, so we gonna bring them there?" I asked she nods and goes upstairs.

Isla ran downstairs in her addidas as I go and check on amara "you finished babygirl?" I asked she nods and I take her plate and put it in the dishwasher. She comes up to me and raises her hands wanting to be picked up, I picked her up as she hugs my neck. Soon the bell rings and someone banged on the door, I looked confused as adiyah gets up and looks at me worried "the hell, who banging on my door like that?" I asked she shrugs as there is more banging and I go to check as amara whines, "shh amara, you're alright," I whisper as I open it to see officers standing outside.

I rose a brow confused "are erik stevens?" He asked "yeah why? What's going on?" I asked "do you know a man by derek Robert?" He asked "I know who he looks like but I don't know him like that," I said "he came reporting to us that you have been abusing your kids and wife," I tilt my head confused as to why I would do shit like that. Adiyah walks over and looks at the officer "abuse, me and my kids are perfectly fine and my husband would do something like that, you should look at him because I know him," she said.

He looks the other officer than looks at me, "if it's alright, can ask a few questions?" He asked I nodded as I let them in. She looked at me and fear was in her eyes, I kiss her forehead telling it's going to be alright. "Y'all want water?" Adiyah asks "no, thank you," He says as we sit down on the couch, amara was sleeping on my chest as isla was laying on my arm, "what's the report about again?" I asked "the report was that you have been abusing your wife and kids," he says "when was this reported?" "We got it half an hour ago," he says I nodded "I love my wife and kids and I don't do stuff like that, I know he would, he was the one who attacked us two times before," the officer rose a brow "I went to go and press charges against him for shooting me and he attacked my wife and daughter and he almost tried to take my daughter isla," I point to isla. The officer hits down as he nods "looks like he's trying to get rid of you get to them," I nodded as adiyah sits next to me and grabs my arm.

I look at her and she had fear in her as she looks at the officer "I know him, he's did things to me," he said and I look at her with a worried face "what did he do?" He asked "this was years ago and um, he abused me and raped me, while I was drunk and unconscious," she chokes on the words as I look at the ground angry "this was years ago correct?" She nodded "why didn't you report this?" He asked "I was scared and I thought if I tell he would kill me, he threatened me if I told anyone he would kill me in the worse way," she said and I just couldn't believe what I was hearing, he raped her and abused her, I was filled with sadness and anger as she looks at me.

"H-He also used me for drugs and money," she said "I was able to escape as I just was to scared to say anything because he would come and kill me." She says as the officer nods "Alright, we're going to investigate and don't worry, he won't touch you, we'll make sure of that," he says "alright, that's all we need to hear, we going to have some private investigators check him out and we're going to make sure y'all are safe as well," I get up and shake hands "Aight, thank you," I said as I go and he leaves and I close the door.
