Chapter 1:

Jade's POV:
My name is Chloe Jade Lockwood. but i like to be called Jade, everyone else at home calls me Chloe I'm 21 years old, I live in Illinois in Chicago and i just transferred schools to University of Florida.. It sucks cause i have to make new friends not that i really have friends back home and I really suck at making new friends. My mom thinks it's a better school and says i need a new environment for a change.. and I'm lucky my grades are perfect, i get to start the same year i stopped from my previous school..

Hey Chloe, we are here: Said my Mom.
"Mom for the last time call me Jade"I rolled my eyes at her and faced the window..
" fine "Jade", i know you are pissed but i think you will love it here, your dad and I think you need-"before she finished that sentence i cut her off..

" I know, I know, I need time to forget about the past and know it's not my fault"I rolled my eyes again and took a deep breath

"baby know you need this , Chicago has too many memories and ever since the accident, you've always been wearing black and dark make up & closed up to make any friends all the time and your therapist said new environment would be best."

"dude stop being such a downer i need to go home"said my big brother..

" well i didn't even invite you here"
" yeah, no shit but mom did"
"guys stop it Jack come on, don't be like that"

Jack just looked at me and then got out of the car, we all did and made our way to the admin and asked for the dean's office which we were taken to..

"Hello you must be the Lockwoods, please have a sit" said the man sitting on the office chair behind the table in front of us.

"thank you, Mr Brown this is my daughter Chloe but she likes to be called Jade so Jade, she's the one who is starting here..

" she's a great kid i checked her profile you sent and boy her grades are perfect, we promise she's in good hands.. Here is her class schedule and room keys and locker keys, you can decorate your room however you like to and please feel free and comfortable at our school. So I'm gonna call in Alexis she will show you around and your room."

Mr Brown called Alexis in and introduced her to us and went to our car and i got my stuff and left them in my new room and said goodbye to my mom and Jack.. So i went back to my room and unpacked everything with Alexis off course she was nice and helped me unpacking & decorating my room and we heat it of maybe changing schools wasn't bad after all..
